I don't know if this is relevant here, but I'm torn on which team to use on Franchise (brought to you by OSFM). Twins? Meh. I want to use a mediocre team not a bad team.

VGP use the Twins. They have Buxton and Sano, and some decent pitching. They still need pitching help, and the OF isn't real great for the future. Other options could be Indians, Rangers, New York (either team).

Miami, needs to build a rotation behind Jose, and a lineup around Yelich and Giancarlo. Raw tools are there but needs some help. Only problem is Miami stadium sucks to hit in. At least in my opinion

Use the twins. You don't even need to be all that patient anymore as the young phenoms should be up within a year. In past seasons the Twins would be a very time consuming franchise as you wouldn't contend for years. But if you choose to bring up Buxton, Sano and Meyer late in the first year, I promise it will be a lot of fun. (I may be slightly biased) :wink:

Is this the best option for these rosters? I usually just take Cleveland and get my franchise started.

Depends on how picky you want to be with certain aspects of your chise. I only do 30 team control to play commish and veto any bad trade proposal that crosses my way. Also allows me to do some real buy and sell at the deadline for the CPU teams in need of it.

I can't remember what user here at the boards who said it last year but the motto is "30-team control: Learn it, live it, love it"

Slightly off topic, actually completely, but can you do fantasy draft with 30 team control and have the cpu draft for the other 29 teams that you're not playing with?

Same here in France. But the good thing is, for me, it is after a couple of hours i will be able to really get the franchise going with two kids deep in sleep! With osfm of course!

I suspect I'll be doing the same thing with the Twins that I did with the Timberwolves in 2k15...and that is sim ahead a year and start playing the games myself in 2016. LOVE my teams always but in a video game, I've gotta be winning a few games, haha

I saw a suggestion on how to do this in another thread, don't remember who said it.

Do a fantasy draft against the CPU no 30 team control. Mark down what who you pick. Then do it again with 30 team control, and sim the whole thing. Trade for who you got on the first draft.

Takes a while, but its the only way to do it.

Also, to dispose of closers who can't close anymore. I can't tell you how many times the closer has an ERA of 5+ and the other relievers are all below 3 and the CPU is like "NO HE IS REALLY OUR BEST OPTION I PROMISE"

I'm assuming you mean a version with every teams active roster and rotations as of 4-12. If that is the case, yes I will begin doing it as soon as the rosters release. PSN is Vorse_W33Z. It will be up about an hour after the rosters release.
