That's awesome man thanks for sharing... My dad is from Coral Gables but his family moved to Flint, Michigan when he was a Jr... He had scollys to Florida, Vanderbilt, and other sec schools... He went the juco route, his college coach would take players over there after they graduated... After that he played in the Pirates farm system for a couple years but gave it up...

The fact that he played minor league baseball is impressive. It takes a special kind of person to play in the minors especially for a long period of time.

Ooooh, you can't imagine even how popular baseball in Europe and worldwide. If you only think about the amount of films which have a particular having reference to baseball or are just based on it, then you will understand. Moreover there will even be a reason if there are more films with inside baseball than those who talk about football.
Baseball, at least I speak with regard to Italy, is a sport practiced very little, but those who practice it does it with passion and love.
There is also a board game on baseball, invented by an Italian (former player of Grosseto) which has been recognized as official by the FIBS (Italian Baseball and Softball Federation), is called "Board of Dreams"
Italians tend to turn up our noses, because they didn't know the rules in detail. However, when I am with someone who does not know the sport and see a match with me, step by step, I tell him the rules, then they begin to understand and appreciate the sport.

I recall last night Ridin said he would post an eta on the roster drop today, has that been posted yet?

Not yet, but Steve (OS Owner) just tweeted "OSFM rosters for MLB 15 The Show will be released later this afternoon/early evening. Will update when I hear more."

Roughly 1.5 teams to go and some tweaks. They are hoping to have them ready this evening as of his post around midnight EST.

If I had to guess I say we're looking at them being released around 4-5PM EST. I don't have any more information than anyone else. I just don't think people should be expecting them in the next 15 minutes.

Plus, should they come earlier, we'd be pleasantly surprised!

The thirst is real in here lol.

I understand though, I'm checking constantly myself.

Buona sera! Ero a Roma l'anno scorso e ho visto nulla, ma il calcio che mi piace anche. Dove è il baseball in Italia?
It is nice that your friends are open to learning baseball. I find that many Americans are not so open to learning futbol, my other favorite sport.
