Does anyone know if there's a way to do this? I wish I could remember the name of the guy that made the one I used but it was awesome and I'd love to make one this year to share with the community.

Franchise file - is it possible?
A couple of years ago a guy here made a franchise file that you could download onto a flash drive and use on your PS3. It included 30-team control and had opening day rosters set with the injuries true to real life. Last year I tried to make one, hoping to share with the community but was told it wasn't possible on PS4. I looked and looked and never found a work-around.

Re: Franchise file - is it possible?
Why can't you just download an Opening Day roster with real injuries, then start your own franchise with 30 team control?
Or am I missing something here......."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob Fee -
Re: Franchise file - is it possible?
There's no way to download a roster with injuries. The only way to start a franchise with injuries is to manually injure the players. This is the point of a franchise file, otherwise everyone has to injure the players for their own franchises.Comment

I used to make one and share it but I dont think it's possible still this year. Franchise files are tied to the PSN account on the PS4.Comment

Re: Franchise file - is it possible?
it only takes 30 minutes at most to injure the players. i have a list of who was injured before opening day if you want it.Comment

Re: Franchise file - is it possible?
Here is the list. When i got to looking for return dates there were a lot more than i planned. Some return dates seemed a bit off. Thought it was better top add them though than not have them at all. And i left off a lot of minor league guys. Here is every player if you wanted to go that far (i doubt anyone does).Comment

Re: Franchise file - is it possible?
Those are estimated return dates. Thats why there are so many as the 1st and 15th of months.Comment

Awesome! I appreciate the lists HozAndMoose. I've never messed around with injuries (only started playing The Show last year after getting a PS4), but I'm gonna give it a whirl this year to up the realism.

Re: Franchise file - is it possible?
ILLICIT this is what I PMed you about. Don't we also need the MLBdepthcharts page so we can trim each roster to the 25 man so that line ups stay in tact after Spring Training? I think it was HustlinOwl that used to do the franchise file and I would do the IN SEASON PLAYER MOVEMENT/DL/call ups thread which I am going to try to start today and get caught up from opening day as well.Comment

Basically all I did was start a 30-team franchise and go through each team and manually injure players as they were on opening day. I didn't go through the teams and set lineups/rotations, though I believe Hustlin did. The real issue is I don't know if you can even transfer files via a flash drive on PS4. As of last year, people on here told me it wasn't possible.Comment

Re: Franchise file - is it possible?
Yeah I just saw your PM last night. For some reason I didn't notice I had one so sorry for not responding. The first time I made one was last year and I didn't trim the teams to 25. I used to care about the lineups but have given up and just let the computer do what they want to. Too much work for me lol.

There is a franchise file if anyone wants to try and see if it works.Comment
