Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Actually you can edit who has a Top 50 icon next to their name with a trick. But once you start a franchise, it's auto-generated.
Last year, I did this for my updated roster of OSFM by boosting all stats for the Top 50 players when starting a new test franchise then it will automatically give them a Top 50 icon. Then I export and import them back into the OSFM roster and edit their stats back to normal. This way they have a Top 50 icon. Ended up having all Top 50 prospects have an icon besides any SCEA players. Haven't tried it yet this year, but assume the trick still works.Comment

Even if you export/import these guys back into your OSFM with Top 50 icons, the game will erase the Top 50 icon when starting a new chise.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

This trick still works. Just edit the guys you consider to be Top 50 prospects into monsters before starting your chise and edit them back to normal after. Maxing out contact, power, and potential for batters and /9 and potential for pitchers does the trick. Need to remember to write down the original attributes though. This way, you can actually have 50 Top 50 spects instead of just 3 or 4.

As for guys who aren't in Top 50 like Wisler and Crick as mentioned earlier, you can decrease their stats entering a franchise then export and import that version without a Top 50 icon back into the OSFM roster and then edit their stats back to normal.Comment

Good to hear it still works. Well said.

But, good point that if a guy gets the icon and you don't want him to have it, you can nerf his atts before starting a chise.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
A lot of Mets players, have equipment colors set to Blue and Orange instead of Team Color 1 and Team Color 2. Really annoying because the colors are off and if I trade that player, they could be wearing blue and orange on the Red SoxComment

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
For those waiting on V2, here are some details on it. Since I keep seeing the "bashing" V1 has taken .... Even though it has over 35,000 downloads lol and everyone has taken the file to make a "better" set. Keep in mind this is the same OSFM that we have been releasing since we started OSFM sets. I have been involved with this project since then with Knight and we will continue to turn out the best we can for this amazing community. Knight has set a high standard for rosters and we will continue to put out great sets for you. We have some great things planned for this years future versions and are already planning ahead to 2016's.
Heres some details on V2:
-Scea players added in roster updates will be added to this set as this set we try to remain as true to SCEA's ratings as possible for the best possible play in long term franchise.
-hundreds of equip edits
-hundreds of facial touch ups
-dozens of new/added players
-motion/stance edits
-contract edits
-current/ up to date transactions- V1 was set to opening day but this version will be current with current 40 man rosters
Ill keep you posted but my plan is to have these out very soon. Not this week soon but within next couple weeks. When we get closer I will update you.
Thanks

How are you handling contracts in v2?
Are you adding int'l players likely to sign eg Hector Olivera and not Kenta Maeda (he's not coming anytime soon though Olivera might as well be on the Dodgers?
Are ages being corrected?Comment

This is an issue with a few teams. People didn't follow the Team Color Guide I put out when the game came out. It's annoying yet minor and an easy fix.Comment

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
V2 Update:
V2 is coming together nicely. I had looked at taking the V1 file and importing it into a newer roster update but after days of debate we have decided not to. The fact that OSFM is a SCEA based roster made the decision easier. The updates that have come out have tons of original SCEA players missing that ARE included in the V1 file. The V2 file has also been tested over and over for the franchise glitch and it only appears occasionally. This update will feature the following:
- updated transactions
- hundreds of new players
- equip edits to all players
-more contract edits
-all corrections from V1
-position fixes/multiple fixed
This update will also feature all the big SCEA ratings adjustments from SCEA's newest updates. So Jimmy Paredes will be a 70, Alex Guerrero will have his bump as will most players. This gives a great franchise experience that will play true to life. I did a test sim tonight and A. Guerrero's first months stats through May 8
Actual. .342. 6HR. 14 RBI
Sim. .321. 5Hr. 15 RBI
I truly believe this is the best playing OSFM and most complete version we will put out. Lots of people have contributed and are helping and I appreciate all the help. This file will be released next within the next 10 days. I will keep you posted.
