Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
The contracts that are not accurate are the ones we found to make franchise play unbalanced. Its just a product of the game design. If we put all contracts to real dollars all big FA would retire too early. Its best we could do

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Ok guys here we go
V2 Update:
After debating long and hard and than looking at V1 compared to the last SCEA update where it has the correct body types, Ht and Wt's I made a decision. The difference in some of the players appearance was big enough to make a change yo V2 that will be the first time a new base will be used. V2's base will be based off SCEA's latest update this past Monday. We have been working round the clock to fine tune and get equip edits and contract edits in. We are moving along briskly as all the prospect work was done ( thanks to all including Willard) and now its importing, equip edits and lineups. We should have this roster out to you next week. Here is what the Ultimate V2 set will feature:
-Updated base roster featuring all correct hts, wts and body types and position fixes by SCEA
-all SCEA created/imported players (unless its a generic face then its V1's
-Hundreds of equip edits, contract edits
- hundreds of missing players including international FA's
-Top 50 prospect designation accurately portrayed
-All updated MLb and MiLB transactions
-All Scea ratings included in latest update, that mean Pineda, Paredes, Yimi Garcia etc
I will post here and on twitter and give you notice 24 hrs before release

So these new rosters won't reflect opening day? What opening day roster should be used if so many corrections were needed to it?Comment

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
You can use any of the updated versions out there now or I am sure someone will do an opening day update

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
I was hoping this version was still going to be set to Opening Day as well, I miss how they use to do it, where they added corrections, equipment, stance, and motions, then pitch edits and rating adjustments, to the opening day OSFM set.
Not sure why its changed, but Im just grateful these guys do what they do, because it is very tedious and time consuming with what they do. So I plan on just taking this set, and returning it back to opening day before I start my Franchise. I figure if Ridin and all who help can do all the hard work to make the rosters, then that's the least I can do to make it like I want it for opening day, as I like to follow real life transactions when they happened IRL in my franchise.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Agreed. No need for ANOTHERopening day roster. This was the best V1 ever, and there are tons of correction rosters. I love the idea of an updated roster with current scea ratings and roster moves.Comment

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Maybe others would like an OD set with updates SCEA players. He said that he was going to do it himself so why the hate? People used to take v2 and v3 and update them to current. Why can't he do what makes him happy? I just hope he posts it for like-minded people.Comment

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Do you struggle to read? never did I complain about the way its done, and even said I was grateful for what Ridin and all the ones who help that do what they do.
I simply said I miss how they use to do it with the different OD versions, where different versions they added in certain things like stances, motions,, equiptment, then pitch edits, then after all that they would do a updated transactions.
Thats how they did it since I been buying MLBTS since 09, and I was just stating I miss how they did it back then but I also have no issues with how its don't now as I can backdate it myself.
All because someone opinion is different doesn't make it wrong, especially when all I was referring to was how it was done for the longest time.
Again Im just thankful to Ridin and all who are involved in making the roster as the actual making of players and adding in allt hey do is the hard part after all.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: OSFM2015 V.1 - Corrections
Yeah, I have no problem posting it once Ridin gets it out and I have time to backdate all the transactions.
Now if seanjeezy happens to be doing pitch edits to it then I might possibly wait, haven't decided yet, as that's the main reason I use to wait was for the pitch edits with how bad SCEA does with them, but it has improved some this yr with the new movement on pitches, so I might just change a few of the pitchers I know that throw the circle change and be done with it myself, so I can start my chise.
Anyway glad to see there is someone out there like myself that still prefers opening day rosters for there Franchise. Must not be that many anymore that play this way like there use to be a few years ago. But its no big deal backdating and resetting things isn't that hard and I have time, plus the MILB wasn't right in v1 anyway, and I like the MILB to as accurate as possible as I play a lot of my minor league games as well.
If you want to help once this is out let me know, but I have all kinds of time on my hands so it no big deal since Im no longer able to work.
Plus I want to make sure Ridin don't care that I do this and post it, which I doubt he will as this is how it use to be anyway with this set, and I will post it as those guys roster so they get credit for all of it.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11
