I think its going to be a 40 man, if I remember correctly, but Im not 100% on this.

I hope it is. The reason is, I dont use 30 team control and I started a test Franchise and I was the only team that upped my roster to 40 man. Every other team left there rosters at 25 for all of spring training. I played 10 random days and simmed the rest. But looking at other teams rosters, I noticed they only had 25 man rosters.

All the rosters can be custom made to whatever you like, if its 25 man make it 40... If its 40 and you want 25 man make it 25..

V2 is looking great. I will post lots of details here and in twitter over the next few days leading up to release. The thing that all roster makers understand is you cant make everyone happy. I am sure once it is released we will get the obligatory "the ....... Teams system is missing the #19 best prospect". I wanna be clear now. The prospects in each teams system are the consensus top prospects, we are striving for AAA accuracy and as close to AA as possible with some extra prospects and fringe guys mixed in. This set will NOT feature every prospect in every organization as no set will because of roster limits. If your a fan of a team and want a missing prospect you can add him to your set. This set is designed for true franchise play so that any prospects or career minor league guys with a chance to play in the show in the next few years are in..... If we ever get another level of playable minor leagues then thats what A ball will be for. Rest assured I have devoted many long hours to this current set as have others and it shows. No OSFM version has ever been released off a new base before and this one will be.

Wooohooo yes yes yes!! Can't wait for the roster to drop this weekend. I made a special excel file so i can track all of my 90 draft picks and organize my 25 man MLB, AAA and AA rosters and also the 15 man A ball roster!!

Hi to all. I wanted to personally thank the OFSM creators for creating something so awesome. You all do such a great job. Many on here are not grateful but I,for one, don't let what you guys do go unnoticed. It means so much you do something incredibly nice for people you don't know. Life is hard sometimes and your rosters provide a few moments of happiness to us all I am sure. We all need to remember that in this day and age. I know in the large scheme of life, these rosters are don't mean a lot to the world but they mean a lot to me. So. thank you again. I am a a new to MLB the Show and i will post a couple questions below. Thank's for the response below ahead of time.

1. What does SCEA mean? (I assume Sony Created players?)

2 On franchise. i have a couple of questions. 1. How do I get the other teams to use there 40 man rosters in spring training? 2. I want to bring my prospects up for an invite in spring training to play but if I send them down after Spring training, it will use up an option and I don't wanna put them on waiver to send back down cause they will not clear (I play with the Indians (My Team. Roll Tribe. . so i don't wanna use an option on Lindor or risk losing him through waivers.

3. Will Todd Hankins on the Indians be in V2 update? He is not a major issue or even a great prospect. It is not important. He is playing well for the tribe in minors, so I was asking. If not, Does someone have ratings for him? I am not good at doing rating, as you guys do such a great job. I don't wanna overrate him (or give me an idea of scale , so I can).

Again. Thank you for everything. And whoever's responds. Have a great day. Play Ball.

P.S Also, I study the Indians, so here are a couple of edits you could consider..

1. Giovanni Urshela defense needs to be upped. He is defensively elite and not to far from Lindor in that category. He does have injury issues.
2. Tyler Naquin has a very strong arm. Maybe top 2 best in Indians minor league.
3. Also. Moncrief prob needs to be downgraded. He is considered being taking off 40 man. His arm strength maybe a little too high, even though he was a hard throwing pitcher.. Indians minor league have a lot of B's. I'm not sure if they are that good but you guys are the experts.

I can answer 1 for you. SCEA stands for Sony Computer Entertainment America. Basically who makes the game. So when you see someone say SCEA players, they are just referring to the real players that Sony included in the game.

I can answer 1 for you. SCEA stands for Sony Computer Entertainment America. Basically who makes the game. So when you see someone say SCEA players, they are just referring to the real players that Sony included in the game.
