    Just a general comment I want to make...

    The trades you see when simulating with this roster are so much more realistic than the trades you see with the original rosters.

    The biggest blockbusters I have seen are

    Charlie Blackmon for Odorizzi

    Collmenter for E. Cabrera

    Jon Niese for Hechavarria

    B. Belt for Justin Nicolino


    and Ichrio always gets traded with this roster.

      Anyway, the complete games thing seems to be a league wide issue and not just a few guys.

      Here is the leaders by team in CG's last season...

      Most of the real good teams get around 5-8 CGs for a season.

      Decent teams get like 3. Bad teams get 1 or 2.



      In my simulations, most teams sit between 10-20, most around 15, with the outliers either reaching the low 20's or sitting down around 8-9.


      Not sure how I would handle this. It is obviously wrong, but I'm not sure if it is wrong enough for me to make any major modifications.

        Simmed a franchise season with the default rosters...

        Josh Donaldson traded to KC for Johnnie Venners on 4/20 lol



        But the reason I did that was to see what the CG's looked like for a standard season with default rosters.

        It looks like this is a problem with those rosters too. The numbers look basically the same as they do with Redsfan's roster.

        The Indians had 27 CG's pitched in one season. lol


        Not sure if anyone wants to lower stamina for every pitcher in the game, but I think that is what it would take if you wanted to see less CG's league wide.

        I guess this is just something we will need to live with, because honestly, even if we lower stamina for every pitcher, we might make it really hard to work deep into games with the pitchers that we actually use in our games that arent simmed.


        I dont have the answer right now.

          For now, I would simply play on and just accept the fact that CG's are going to be elevated.

          It isnt a huge deal to be honest. In most cases, it is about 10 extra CG's per season.

          Starters might be working deeper into simulated games, with would make bullpens for CPU controlled teams work less innings and not have as much fatigue, but it could be a much bigger issue than this.


          If you played Madden 15, I remember there was an issue where almost any blitz against the CPU resulted in a sack. I would be able to get 25 sacks a game on All-Madden against Peyton Manning if I wanted to.

          It was a joke.

          The Show is never a joke like that, and this appears to be a minor oversight by SCEA.

            For the complete game issue you guys are seeing..

            Has anyone tried adjusting the Starter Stamina slider then simming? I believe that has an affect on inning pitched for sim stats. Is the issue too many CG for the stud players, or is EVERY pitcher throwing too many innings? Also Manager hook affects sim stats but I don't think that would change the CG's much. Simming with a lower Starter Stamina might be a better fix than editing stamina values for sim value and ruining the actual games played.

              I was told that sliders don't impact the simulated games, but I will give it a shot.

                I know for sure Injuries do, and 90% sure those other three do too. The only issue is that might screw up the innings pitched for the average pitchers who don't throw CG's

                        Hey all. I can't wait any longer to starts a franchise. Does anyone know if the pitch edits are completed on this roster set yet?? I have found there is almost zero benefit to getting into a team bullpen early as every single reliever they roll out has about 20 pitches they can throw with pinpoint accuracy and control.... sigh

                            what on earth would the difficulty have to do with every reliever in baseball throwing a combination of 5 pitches??? I clearly have no issue getting to a bullpen but there is no difference in the pen v.s the starters. I am pretty sure that every middle relief and set up man in the majors does not throw 3 pitches let alone 5.

                              I mean, it doesnt matter how many pitches they throw if they are giving you meatballs on lower difficulty levels.


                              Otherwise, most relievers throw 3-4 pitches. And then they only use 2-3 as dominant pitches they attack you with.
