Roster looks great! Just needs equipment updating for sure. Astros equipment looks rough. Lol I understand it wasn't touched though so the roster would be released faster.

Yeah the equipment is still default OSFM besides the guys I had to fully edit that were added in.

I guess we should hold off on doing equipment edits until SCEA releases a fix. Another issue is no one is selected in the Rule 5 draft...

Yeah I didn't touch equipment. Not real big on it. It changes all the time anyways.

I was wondering but to clarify, I don't want formulas but what did you use to come up with the new ratings? Are they based over multiple years or a projection system? How about speed and fielding ratings? Also, how did you handle contracts?

Stats based. Last 2 years. I despise projection systems. They are guesses. Minor leaguers are all rated from 2014.

Contracts, I'm more concerned with years. Only changed Pence and Hamilton.

Scouting reports also play a huge role in ratings for me.

I have been looking forward to downloading this roster but I keep seeing post about a draft bug?? Can someone explain to me what the issue is with this?

Will it "corrupt" my franchise when I get to the amateur draft?

                    Thanks!

                      Thanks!

It's happening quite a bit im working on importing the roster over to a new base. The best way to find out is by Simming a test franchise to see if it affects you

The draft bug is a killer but otherwise ot looks good. I have a handful of players I use to determine how well ratings are done guys with like reverse splits and stuff and speed/defense typically overrated and you nailed them. What stats did you use for fielding ratings and the speed rating specifically?

Draft bug got me by the way. I see no fix. Are you importing over a team at a time and simming looking for the cause?

Btw, projections are more like educated guesses - they use advanced stats and probablities. Where they are bad are in changes stats can't account for like changes in a swing due to shoulder/finger injuries or teams adjusting shifts etc. just thought I'd throw that out there.

Yes sir I am.. So far it's good to go but im early in the process i will keep everyone updated I plan to hit this hard tomorrow. Problem is we have to update all the transactions and MLB ratings again. But that is much better than ground zero
