Re: Great Teams of the 20th Century

Hey thanks a ton for this roster set. Amazing. I've been waiting for these for awhile. I'm in the process of porting it over to 15 and then merging a few championship teams(21st century) I've created with JTommys RBU. Thanks again they look and play great. May be the only roster I use from here on out.

Sounds great, buho, and thanks! Once I get MLB 15, I'll look for it as that will save me some work in porting it myself. Let me know what you name the roster so I'll be able to find it in the vault. Enjoy!

        bostongahden,

I've been trying to contact you is there another way I can download the MLB 13 the show classic rosters? The link that was there doesn't work anymore and I don't have a PS4 yet? Can you provide a way so I can enjoy the rosters without getting a new system.

Yeah sorry I got your notification but I was just busy trying to get this roster set out. I'm pretty sure I still have them on my cpu so give me a day or two and I'll see if I can get them up for you.

Hey nflrocks24 here are a few links to my Classic sets from MLB 13 for PS3 on Sendspace. Each roster set probably has most of the same teams with some slight variations in each. Enjoy!

Thank you so much! Ignore my personal message as I didn't look here first. Though I'm confused. I got V 1.1, V 1.2, V 2.0. All the the versions have different teams than what you first put up there.

When you have time can you explain the changes you to the different versions and what year of the teams that are on each version. Thanks if you do.

I'll look for the original file that I started with from that old thread. If you check baseballreference.com for each franchise in the meantime, you should be able to figure out the teams. If I get a chance, I'll take a look.

It is and you're right on Ortiz. With the current players, you'll have to move them up and down. This seems to be the roster for Version 1.1 that I provided the link for above.

A nice mix of balls in play and you really notice when your up against a #4 or #5 rotation guy or very average BP arm. Also, your star players really shine with these sliders. Equally important tough is your camera settings as I had to go back to MLB 13 to discover I wasn't using the proper custom camera that I created on that title. After I re-adjusted on '14, I've enjoyed more success. I'll have some video highlights coming out soon.

Pitching, defense and 2 out RBIs win a lot of ball games!

When you get a chance can you tell me what teams are for the 1.2 version and 2.0 version. I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

My '67 Red Sox swept the '70 Orioles in the ALDS. Check out some very entertaining games with these rosters. Now on to the ALCS against the '68 Tigers. Lonborg vs McClain in the opener at Fenway!

Welp, I'm in tough now as I've dropped the first two games at home in the series.'68 Tigers' catcher Bill Freehan is killing me. I'll need to find a way on the road or it'll be a quick series. Every game so far in the AL playoffs has been tight for me with only a one run differential between teams.

Just got a great idea to truly represent the best of the 20th century in its entirety. I intended to ignore the dead ball era initially, but I think that if MLB 16 doesn't give us the ability to customize leagues, I'm going to have a draft of the best players of the dead ball era and make three teams and include them under the Diamondbacks, Rays, and Rockies. Then it'll really be a complete representation of the best of the 20th century!

This sounds like a great idea.
