Does this one happen to have the updated/accurate contracts, or does it have the stock contracts?

Either way is great; just curious.

Cool. And this doesn't mess up future seasons with FA? I've read multiple accounts that suggest that this creates issues with team budgets, and other accounts that suggest everything plays out fine.

Do you happen to know one way or the other?

        Thanks again!

I will run a test sim once I finish the rosters before uploading them.

I noticed that too, some get really childish when it comes waiting on a roster they want to use around here, and seem to think the people here that do all this great stuff, have nothing better to do but sit at there TV editing around the clock. Some should try to do their own roster sometime, and then maybe they would see just how time consuming it is. Plus editing usually don't go as fast as you think before you start doing it, it seems the longer you work at it the farther away the finish line seems at times, lol.

No joke. I remember working on an NCAA Basketball 10 roster to try and address the lack of 3-point shots and post moves used by the CPU. It required changing 3-4 ratings categories for every player on every team. There was no global edit option. It took a LONG time and while the edits did improve the game, I had a hard time enjoying the game because the editing and testing process took so long.

So yeah, you'll never hear me complain about time of completion because I understand how difficult these projects are.

Will this roster have Mo's CAPs by any chance since his work is brilliant? Thanks for the work. Hope this also has that recent Trumbo trade [emoji106]🏽

I know exactly what you mean with NCAA10 basketball, I made those same exact edits, lol. I have always been very OCD about editing rosters with all the games I play, but it does get tiring and a lot of it wouldn't need done, or not nearly as much anyway if these sports gaming companies would put more effort into getting players right to begin with. But its not just with MLBTS, its like that with all sports games. Actually MLBTS is probably the best with ratings, just pitcher repertoires and imo baserunning and base stealing ability is where they lack. Pitch repertoires have improved from what they use to be though, but some of the rating they give for baserunning and stealing don't make much sense at all, unless its the handful of popular speed guys.

                    THANKS!
I always forget about the thread ratings too (just put a 5 star vote on it), and in all seriousness I am super pumped for this roster as I know 55 wont put anything out that is less than %100. I am at the beach until Friday so the rate at which these are done doesn't matter to me and even after that I will probably be getting my NCAA 14 dynasty started so I am in no rush.

Keep it up 55, but hurry...and boost the Tribe's ratings...

It appears as though the "consensus" is that having real contracts will only work if you use the "ignore budgets" feature or high OVR players end up unsigned in FA or retire due to a "poor free agency market"...

30 Team Control was suggested as well, but even if / when I use that, I prefer to set everything for the CPU to "auto"...

Managing one team's offseason is enough of a challenge for me, and I like to "compete" against the CPU teams in the off field aspects as well...

                      All that being said:

The FA scenario described above may not kick in for a few years, so it might not be that big a deal...

I look forward to test results, with regard to both the financial stuff as well as how the sim stats unfold...for confirmation on this "consensus" I referenced...

                      Continued thanks, 55!

Free agency has been "broken" in franchise mode for years regardless of contract amount/length.

Correct me if I am wrong, but these DO NOT have the exact contract dollar amount only the length of the contract is accurate correct? That is only in the revision roster from Willard. This roster is using OSFM V2 as a base? Or are you using the weekly updates from Ridin? The only thing you are adding is the pitch edits to the OSFM v2 roster right? Will there be any updated transactions? Will the pitch edits effect the OVR of the player at all? Thanks!

Hopefully all that 55 is doing is editing the pitchers on the OSFM v2 Roster.
Quite frankly, that alone is one HELLUVA lot of work. Personally that is all I hope that he is focusing on!
Equipment, Contracts, Backdating, blah, blah, blah....That is on us. I am quite gratified and thankful for him undertaking the whole G.D. meal of editing attributes on over 700 pitchers.
If guys are really concerned about a contract for a 3rd string catcher in AA ball that will never make the MLB squad before you get sick of the game when the NFL season starts, then they should probably deal with that issue separately from this whole thing that 55 is doing....
                            That's my $.02 anyway.
