OSFM v2.1 w/ pitch edits - OUT NOW!

Full credit for the OSFM v2.1 roster base goes to Ridin and his team of editors for all of their hard work every year. I cannot express enough how valuable all of you guys are to this community. You all rule!

Also a HUGE thank you to WTNY for doing hours upon hours of research and providing the pitch edit spreadsheet that these are based on. You outdid yourself, my man! Your hard work has paid off for sure.

I put over 50 hours of work into these and I am very happy with the outcome. I hope everyone enjoys them as much as possible. So what are you waiting for? Go get 'em!

Name: OSFM v2.1 w/ pitch edits

    Owner: GutsPersonified

They are up in the vault NOW! Enjoy!

Did you get the Soriano signing by the Cubs in? Also, is Correa the Astros starting SS? Thanks.

As long as 55 approves, I will turn this into a 40 man roster.

Hi guys. Just curious as to what the differences are between this and willards roster set? Both use wtny pitch edit do they not?

Willard's version rerates the batters as with 55 he leaves the ratings stock like in Ridin's roster. As of right now both don't have contract edits YET (to my knowledge), but I'm sure eventually they both will have some kind of contract adjustments (hopefully minus the glitch). According to 55 his WTNY pitch edits are more detailed without particular glitches (pitch stamina I think) that other rosters with the pitch edits may suffer from.

Pitch stamina glitch? What is that then? I'm happy with willards roster as I'm into my franchise now but this is the first I have heard of a stamina glitch....

Was just wondering about this set that's all if it's worth starting again

I plan to do it on the next release (with up to date transactions and the 1st round draft picks added) but you have the green light to go ahead with that if you want. I'm probably going to take a week off from editing, so feel free.

Willards roster has rerated SCEA players (i.e. Andrew McCutchen is like an 85 OVR) and this one does not have rerated SCEA players. These are the exact OSFM v2.1 rosters that Ridin uploaded to the vault on 5/25. The only thing that was edited were the pitch edits from WTNY's spreadsheet.

There is no stamina glitch. I have no idea where that idea came from. There is, however, a major issue with editing any player with an off speed pitch (changeup, circle change, vulcanchange or palmball) that causes all of his other pitches to increase and/or decrease in speed. Every player with an offspeed pitch needs to be edited twice (sometimes thrice!) to assure everything is just right. Those steps were taken here, which is why it took over 50 hours of work.

If you are already into your franchise and are having fun, I'd stick with it. No need to start over now and second guess yourself.

I noticed there are some draft picks in the one free agent column. So I'll do as many as possible.

Don't have an ETA. Maybe the weekend.

Cheers man. Yeh I am enjoying it. The pitch speed glitch has got me worried his roster might have it now
