I am completely new to the PS4 and to The Show this year (only had both for about a month).

I keep reading that roster creators are importing players from SCEA into their rosters or CAPs into their rosters, etc. I also see people saying that they copied faces from someone else onto their players.

I don't know how any of this works. From what I gather, if I am editing my own roster, but then I see a player I like from another roster, I can copy that player over the corresponding player in my roster? Or any player in my roster I want? I could also copy another face onto my player?

Can someone help me out? Talk slowly...

Since some of these statements sound like things I have included in my posts I'll try and take a stab at a helpful response.
Question of importing SCEA players
Every week the developers at SCEA release a roster update and in those rosters they include rookies who have turned in their paperwork to the MLBPA and debuted in the MLB. For instance, Francisco Lindor, and Byron Buxton both debuted in the MLB last week and they were included in this week's roster. These rookies are exportable which means that if you are in the roster control screen you can click on them and export them from the SCEA roster and then import them into your own roster.
Importing players
This applies to those SCEA rookies and any CAPs you have downloaded from the player vault or exported from another roster. SCEA has included a vault for both players and rosters and you can go into these separate vaults and download any roster or CAP that other people have uploaded. You simply click on the roster or player you want and click download and then save it. Once you have done that you can then load that roster or import the player you have downloaded.
Creating players over others
You can do this but it is a somewhat long process, you can instead look for the desired player in the player vault or find him in a roster.

People have made current rosters on The Show 14, but those are different than the ones you'll see here (OSFM 2015, Revision, etc)
