It's a workaround to export players out of franchise and into a roster. The franchise file will be one from MLB15 that has the completed players and then transferred over to MLB16 once it comes out. This saves time because the players were already created rather than making them every year like what had been done from the beginning of these roster up until MLB14.

Just for clarity... you can only export created players right? You cannot export SCEA players. So, OSFM must wait for the Opening Day roster from SCEA for MLB 2016 and then import their created or more accurately their created exported players (of which will be minor leaguers not in the SCEA roster) into the 2016 SCEA roster. Is that correct?

Corect can only export created players or SCEA created players (like Kris Bryant in mlb 15)

Anyone see that Twins' Byung Ho Park is hitting .364 with 3 HRs through 8 games?? Anyone have an estimate about his OSFM rating??

His numbers in Korea were similar to Jung ho Kang with a few more HR and Kang had 57R 61L contact and 62R 73L power in the first update he appeared so Park should be near that.

I was wondering, since Park isn't going to be on the first SCEA roster, will OSFM still have to create him? Or will they release the first OSFM roster after the first SCEA update; therefore he wouldn't have to be created?

How does V1 plan to deal with SCEA player contracts? Especially with new additions to contracts (length) and The All-New-Franchise-Boosting Player Morale System.

Hello baseball brethren!

I can't believe it's that time again....but it is.....time to get ready for another edition of the Operation Sports Full Minors.

This great community effort is nearing a decade of existence in one form or another and is stronger than ever.

There will be some changes to this year's format.....as we have several editor already working on the 2016 players and we will simply import them.

RidinDwnKingsely will once again be doing the importing to the Master file and checking that everything is in line.
Willard76 has a roster that has the faces for most players that need them(of course as we get closer...we may need to create some or edit existing)....thanks to many face editors ...Motown...Willard himself and others(I'll get the names for sure)
ShowTyme has created a roster that has up to date transactions(I believe he and bacong worked on this together)
The individual team editors are working on the players they want to see in each organization.

All of these elements will be combined to try and get a set out VERY soon after the release of MLB The Show 2016 as we can import the players from the master to a new roster file once the game is released.(we hope.....in the fact that the CPU ROSTER CONTROL trick still works....I tried to get confirmation from the CD guys...but it was too late as they were done already....I will try and ask Ramone or Lorne if it's still there....I think it will be)

At any rate there has already been a tremendous amount of work done.....but there is still a lot more to be worked on.

This should be a tremendous set....with a tighter work group.

Quick question for everyone - as I go through faces and equipment - there are teams such as Tampa that have a high sock, short hair no facial hair minor league policy. Do we want to create players to look as they will in the bigs or the minors?

Bigs I say.
I don't think the amount of people using them in the minors....vs. who will be using them in the majors warrants having to have those using them as MLB players to have to edit them.

Brewers also have a no facial hair policy and there's lots of others I believe that are in that group.

hey whatever it takes i am a number one fan of you guys i use your rosters for the past 4 yrs, before i used to just to edit them myself. started that back in 2005 mvp i always gotta play with real names etc. great job i really appreciate knight165 and crew!!!
