Says 4/12 .... So is that about the same process as this years?
This is my 2nd year on The Show and I keep seeing "porting in" so does that make it easier for them to do the rosters or do they have to start over every year like NCAA Football was?

Yea the process is the same. And the porting over definitely helps speed it up. They do not have to start up all over again.

Yeah...thanks tb....

He's just going into some of the really bad ones.

He's definitely not doing them all or trying to get them to RL contracts....just in line with the game contracts.



I have to really start begging for them to allow us to edit budgets for teams.

He's just going into some of the really bad ones.

Knight just curious have there been any testing with player morale tied to contracts.Im guessing ridin and others might not have the time to check on this now.But was there any testing before importing and editing on faces.

I literally just signed up to tell you guys how much I appreciate (I'm sure you hear this a lot) all the time and effort you put into this stuff. It makes the game feel so much more complete.

You guys should open up some sort of crowdfunding with the great work you do.

For which players?.....minor league players it doesn't really effect.
For service time players who might be in the MLB....I don't think so.
But we can always edit them if it's problematic.

Hopefully at some point there is a "crowdfunding" type of thing I can donate some money to. The work that is done here is great, and without it Idk if I'd enjoy the game nearly as much, thanks for all your work guys!

Full intent was to start a franchise day one with the SCEA roster. Took one look at the Giants roster, was disappointed in some of the ratings (which won't change with OSFM, I know, but I can edit some of the SCEA prospects like Mac Williamson on my own) and just decided to wait. I haven't played the game at all and probably won't until these drop. Until then, I'm having a blast with OOTP, first year playing the full version on PC (instead of IOS) and I'm amazed at how deep it is. Definitely has taken away my impatience regarding awaiting the Show. I recommend it to anyone who is posting about ETA 10 times a day here. These OSFM guys do awesome work, its worth the wait. It'll drop when it drops. Thanks everyone!

perhaps this was addressed elsewhere, but for those of us making rosters, make sure you adjust the player speed. Unlike in past years, this attribute actually doesn't progress much, which is great, because that is more true to real life (guys don't really get faster from age 20 on).

As a result, I had to make some tweaks to my Royals roster. In years past, I had left some room for guys to get faster so that they were more accurate when they reached the bigs. Now, their speed as prospects is as good as it is going to get.

I've got the Royals done, just doing some spot checking and some sims to make sure it all checks out. Will have them to Ridin/Willard/Knight this evening.

Have you noticed any other attributes that don't increase much with age? Such as pitch velocity or perhaps fielder arm strength or reaction? I haven't got around to checking this yet and it seems like you might have.
