Well...they have been and you might be.
I guess the best thing is to PM or better yet...post here what 90(+) players you want in your organization and then they can tell you if they need a certain player(s) in order to fill that.

I'm just trying to cover bases early here instead of a mad rush to get players at the end.....which has happened in the past with some teams.

Yeah.....they probably are looking in this thread right now and not the individual ones.

PM'ing is your best bet.....

They can PM me that they need.....XXX and I'll see if the individual editors have or can make that particular player.

A lot of the players are your(each editors...not just you sink) players from last year(obviously)...updated in varying degrees.(some just ages....others faces as well and some a full update.)

I'll update the Dodgers ages and jersey numbers today. Haven't had much time to work on the roster the last few days.

Knight should I keep doing what I've been doing? Or just finish the Dodgers and leave everything else up to Willard, Ridin, and the individuals responsible for their specific teams?

Hey guys, quick question. Sorry if this is a common question but I am new to trying to get through multiple seasons. If I am in the middle of a 2015 season in the show and I transfer over my save will the roster transfer over? If not can I upload this roster once it's available and keep progress of my 2015 season? Also I would love to help you guys with anything needed. Thanks for the help and Play Ball!!

Kind of a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway... I know you guys are updating 15, but when you transfer it over to 16 what happens to the players who were created in 15 but in 16? (Syndergaard, Conforto, Matz, etc)

They will be SCEA players.
We are importing missing players that we edited in '15....carry over to '16...export then import onto the MLBTS '16 rosters.

Depending on the version you use they become SCEA models.

I think it would be helpful if there was an estimated time for release on the original post. Just a suggestion. Because I would obviously like to know when we can expect it but I fear the flame thrower that will be pointed in my direction if I ask... which I basically just did... putting on my flame-resistant jacket and helmet...

We don't have the game.
We don't know if the attributes in last year's form will play out the same in '16....especially because it sounds like they changed the defensive side of the game quite a bit...
Did they slow down progression on pitchers?
Have they upped the progression of hitters?

...and the biggest question....
Can we still export players from a franchise after carry over and then import them onto a '16 roster?.....which if not....will mean we start from scratch.

Knight, that was a very good in depth answer and I'm sure everyone will appreciate the response. I've been downloading the OSFM rosters since 2012 and I can definitely appreciate the amount of work it takes to get a roster set out as I tried to do so during the offseason. All I can say to everybody who doesn't contribute to the roster is that these rosters are definitely worth the wait.

Just a piece of advice to those asking about the roster ETA: Just hang tight a bit longer. As a disclaimer I have only used OSFM last year but I have paid attention to the roster for many years now.

I know you guys aren't trying to be disrespectful in asking and I know some of the creators take offense when it is asked but just wait a little bit. I can promise you they wont be available day 1 but I can almost guarantee you there will be an update within a week of the release on the progress of the roster.

In previous years there has even been a google spread sheet for people to track the progress. I timed my purchase of the game last year around that spread. I asked about that spreadsheet earlier in the thread and I would assume it will be back this year.

There is less to do but still much to be done, so the spread will be the best way for the creators to communicate while allowing us as fans to keep up with the progress
