I'm not bent out of shape at all and I too would love an update but its just getting to the point where the thread has become people arguing.

Closing it won't really help anything. Sweeping an issue under the rug fixes nothing. Public forum we should be able to talk about it. There will be the irrational and rational people it comes with the territory.

My only response to all this is this. For x plus years this has been a community project. Now all of a sudden this year it is a select group of individuals. There have been several of us that have offered to help on these and basically got no response. I know no one owes us anything yet this is an Operation Sports Community roster, and before this year it was a community project. The google docs let us see who was having trouble and it allowed us to help those that needed help get the roster out. Im almost afraid to say anything in the fear of being band, scrutinized, or torn apart but come on. It was this time last year that the rosters were put out and about the same time the game was released, nothing changes CPU Roster control is still there yet for some reason which seems to be hidden the roster is 60 percent done after 2 weeks.Let us know how we can help, let us know what teams that need help. Is it the fact that SCEA is unable to produce a roster update until 18 April? Hopefully this gets read for what it is, just trying to get some answers for those of us that have seen this project as a community project and is now shut down to everyone offering help to get it out

It was stated early that we are using the work that you guys who have done the set for quite some time and if you wanted to work on a team in '15 and send us the updated team we would use it.
Plenty of guys are doing that......Ivanhoe, MauerMorneau....etc..

Yea this was talked about in the main forum thread talking about bans. It would do more harm then good. Instead of the questions all being in one thread there would be separate threads that clutter the forum for every question about OSFM. Also there are some legitimate questions for new members who haven't used the rosters before, or helpful information like injuries. But the main thing is the amount of work the mods would have to do. With the closing of the numerous threads that are asking a simple question.

Which means? I ask because I had planned on doing a franchise with updated rosters then do the transactions by hand, but it won't be the right 25 man roster that was on opening day which would seem off to me.

More than welcome for guys to have taken teams,it makes it much easier.But the importing takes time regardless. Knight and I and the rest of the gang are moving as quick as possible.

Not sure if this is a stupid question but will this full
minors roster also be available for PS3? There's a "full minors" currently available in the roster vault but I'd rather wait for this one if its also going to be released on PS3. Thanks

The vaults are shared across the systems. So yes it will be on the PS3.

I'm guessing the answer is no because of the new player faces but any chance this will work on the 2015 vita version (still upset they stopped supporting the vita since that is my go to travel mode of play). Otherwise, anyone know of an updated version that would work?

I remember first stumbling onto OSFM by accident when looking for answers about a puzzling revamped off season. I had been playing the game since PS3 and couldn't believe I'd been playing this game for years without this. You would think when I first popped onto this forum I would be clammoring for answers about when the project would be released. Instead I just sat back in read through. Found all my answers within a matter of minutes.

The gentlemen who state all they want is just insight of where they're at with the project and when they get one say that that's all they wanted just had to scroll back to find it had been answered for them mulitple times already.

Why do they need to give estimates? What if they don't know what the estimate is quite yet. Whenever these guys are close to releasing, they always state that information. Why not check in everyday to this thread and look for that particular message?

Something to think about in the future... since this project his much easily handled now with game to game importing, maybe stop creating this thread until the actual release. Let the trolls create their very own ETA thread!
