      Re: Late '60s V2.0 Uploaded

I just uploaded V2.1 of both the Early & the Late 60s Roster sets due to a recent discovery.

I discovered in Season mode with CPU Roster Control on if you have a Starting Pitcher Rotation of only 4 Pitchers the CPU will place the highest overall rated relief pitcher (not including the Closer) as the 5th Starter regardless of his Stamina rating which creates problems if his Stamina is very low thus causes poor outings.

Thus I have corrected this problem in both Roster Sets as well as in the Late '60s I added a couple Pitchers and 1 positional Player (Thad Tillotson; Pete Cimino; and Dick Kenworthy) to replace players that were represented already in the Early Roster Set.

I really wish MLB The Show would allow for 4 Man Starting Rotations as were used a great deal in the '60s.

Don...it won't do it if you cut the 40 man rosters down to the 25 in the MLB and use to choose all 30 teams with a profile that controls roster/lineup moves.
You(the user) can always just add the 15 others to the 40 man right after Spring Training.

          Hey Knight,

I only use 25 Man rosters but normally only set 1 team to human controlled.

I will have to test out setting all 30 Teams to human control to see if it in fact allows for 4 Man Rotations to be used. I like for the Teams to vary lineups and let some of the subs get a bit of playing time in as well. So if it does those two things then I will start doing it the way you have let me know about.

          Thanks,
          Don

They will sub out for fatigue and poor play(the coach suggestions) anyway....so you will get some change.
It won't physically change the lineups(on the lineup screen)....unless you gave that profile lineup control...which I think would effect the rotation as well.

Guess I need to do some more testing as my first two test with initially set 4 Man Rotations and using all 30 teams as human controlled with turning CPU Roster Control On & Off still resulted in all teams using 5 Man Rotations.

Guess I need to look more into the Profile area settings.

                Don't use CPU R.C.

Make 1 profile with EVERYTHING set to HUM....
Set your 4 man rotations in the roster file...as well as 25 players on the 40 man(all must be your MLB players...if the CPU makes any move to correct...it will change everything ...lineups/rotations etc)
Use it to start a seas/fran and choose all 30 teams and make sure that profile is assigned to all 30 teams.
