    Roster Save Limit

I have been downloading a bunch of different rosters from the vault, and made my own as well, but I have noticed that I can only save up to 5 roster files. Is my game glitching on me, or have we been limited this year to only 5 saved rosters?

Wow, really? I just got the game in, still unopened and really considering returning it now. I have loyally been a fan of the series for about 5 years now (not as long as some of you) and was really exited about the sounds of the show and open domes added this year. I know The Show did not have a limit last year so not sure what's up.

Not really happy with this generation of sports games. I believe NBA 2k did the same thing. Maybe developers want to be sure we keep buying their yearly "roster updates". It seems they keep taking features out and milking micro transactions and online gaming. No offense to any who enjoy those particular modes but for us old school type players this is a bit disheartening. I'm glad I kept my last generation of consoles if this trend continues. I feel as this generation has been a step back.

Sorry for the rant, sports has been my favorite gaming genre and as a longtime sports gamer, I am a bit disappointed now. I am really on the fence whether to keep or return.

Because of the 25 player limit on the HDD?
It was only 32 last year.
You can use as many players as you like when actually importing....that 25 is only how many slots you have on the HDD when exporting them in order to import onto a roster.

I was under the impression that you could only have 5 rosters saved to your HD. For example, if I have the OS Full Minors roster, and wanted to download any of your turn back the clock rosters or other yearly rosters, would I be limited to 5 sets?

What about online storage? Think you can still upload roster files to the cloud?

Yes....5 is the HDD limit for some reason.

I don't get the 5 save limit...but like bcruise says.....you could use the online storage or a simple USB drive(which is a good thing....just in case anything happens to the PS4 anyway)

Ok, the flash drive sounds like a viable workaround, not a PS+ subscriber. Thanks for the suggestion and your wonderful rosters.

Is there also a limit on how many seasons or franchise you could save?

That's the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard, because you're limited to a number of saves?

Yes, because of limited saves. That's the great thing about opinions, everyone can have them and they're not particularly wrong. In your opinion, my thinking was ludicrous. IMO it's ludicrous that developers are taking away and limiting certain features and that many people simply accept this.

You see, I don't play a lot of online or DD or Road to the Show. I tend to play lots of exhibition games using rosters of different years. Maybe you play differently, and that's fine. I don't care how anyone else gets their enjoyment from the game. We have outstanding roster makers in this community like Knight, PJ, Jros, and many others. I have neither the capability nor desire to create rosters as in depth as others. I am grateful that these guys are generous enough to share their excellent work. It just feels that the developers have made it more difficult to enjoy the roster creators' work.

Now as stated earlier in the tread, there is a workaround using PS+ or a flash drive. Thanks to everyone who made those suggestions and thanks to the many roster creators for their outstanding work.
