i was going to play a random exhibition game tonight so i'll download the test and report back after the game.

me and a buddy both played over 100 games of our fictional franchises last year (he actually played about 40 games into year 2) so i'm down to help in anyway possible.

Updated roster now uploaded as "Tims fiction beta update"

The roster includes BAL, BOS, NYY, ATL, CHC.

Brothers this is an immense task and a creative process...I have completed over 2500 players despite pixel limitations, tools and such... Wanted something comprehensive enough to delight and entertain while staying the course of Reality base and complementing the true game engine... This process is at 3 years and counting... I have created and purged countless players from the vault comb through the roster vault and borrowed and defined from historic, and fellow fictional roster uploaded by King riles and justmunc among others... 3 years and now at the point of implementation of ratings purged from OSFM 2.5 and WTNY pitch edits this will take time as well but now talking months out as opposed to years.. Say August... Then comes into play Aesthetics, if I purged for example Ozzie Smith off a historic roster I use the character as a template and create 3 versions out of 1 making 3 individual characters... Beats the generic faces to work off. So with that said I have a Facebook page dedicated to the hobby/roster set in which next week I will start uploading pics and bios... ShowNation MVP Ops... This will be my only post and will field questions over the next 48hrs...Keep creating brothers and #OWNTHESHOW

Creating so many players are there doubles?There are only so many names how are you working around this?

I love the use of fictional rosters and conducting a fantasy draft but the problem is uniforms ending up green shoes on a Chicago Cub after draft or trade... Did you make the players with default eqiuipment?

Will you have anything for us to mess around with as we wait? To get a feel if its what Im hoping for?

Yes, default colors for shoes, batting gloves. Realistic colors for other accessories. I will release beta versions while working on them. Theres one out already.

Players may look similar but not identical there are creative ways to keep characters unique.. Tweak a nose a brow add depth with pock marks etc.

My fictional roster has all minors..not enough audio names over 2500 players are stale re-hashed and redundant after 162 games and end up with 90 John and Jose on a team so I name players based on geographical and cultural authenticy without compromising popular common names.

Color coordinated is important for the visual experience and entertainment of the game.. Worst thing is conducting a trade and or fantasy draft and seeing horrible color coordination... Yankees are clean shaven... As are the Reds... Fictional but reality based. Once this roster is done I have plans to create all players with stirrups, Lousiville sluggers rawlings gloves and batting helmet no face guards... Mlb level only for the fun of it and my own tribute to the 70's.

I will upload 6 teams next weekend on a blank roster in the Fantasy Category under the tag panthro tek...NY Yankees, NY Mets, L.A. Dodgers, L.A. Angels, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox... There already done just touching up Aesthetics... I hope to encourage more to get involved with fictional rosters for the show as this game is the only game that allows the depth.

Just wanted to say thanks for doing these rosters. I play fictional rosters every year and will wait for your fantastic work to be complete before purchasing the new version of the game. Thank you again for all the hard work.

That would be a great help, if you could. Make as many as you want then I can always edit the ratings. I have had a busy week and haven't touched the game all week. However, I will have the time now to work on them a lot more than previously.

My wife will be gone all June so, I will work very hard on them then. So,any help is greatly appreciated. Just PM me on where to find your players...
