Definitely. Basically what it boils down to is no game will ever be perfect. Sometimes you just have to roll with what you get you know?

Hopefully I was clear, but just in case, people seem to be conflating two separate issues. The "First Career HR" is the presentation glitch I was referring to and what the previous poster I responded to seemed to be describing when asking about the stat glitch.

Separate from that, career totals on the player cards are messed up in OSFM. To be clear, this is 100% NOT the fault of anyone who worked on the roster! Any roster based off of any of the SCEA updates prior to 4-18 (not counting the original default roster which was also fine) will, unfortunately, have goofed career stats for some players (which includes all currently available versions of OSFM and any rosters based off of it).

Ok makes sense... Im like PhilliesFan, I only play one season so it doesn't bother me... I only care about season stats.

I'm sorry but there still is no excuse for this from SCEA. I mean didn't the team look into this before releasing the game from an updated roster file? It really shouldn't happen. People can make excuses all they want but in reality this type of stuff SHOULD NOT HAPPEN! It's like minimal testing was done in this area or they didn't even test this particular feature out at all.

Alright, another stupid question: the stats error that everyone is talking about, does that mean when you look at a player card in franchise their stats wont be there?

No the career stats are messed up.

For example for me..Randal Grichuk has only played 3 major league seasons but yet it shows that he's played in over 1,000 career games.

So, help me out. What is the downside to not having career stats correct? Will the player retire sooner or is there another reason I am missing?

Nothing really more than an eyesore. Also you miss obtaining certain, authentic if you will, milestones for players. It also will effect, I think, a player getting into the Hall of Fame.

For me, while it bothers me, it hasn't stopped me from enjoying the game. Its something that I hoped can be patched for those of us who have started a franchise and don't won't to restart if fixed in a roster update, but if not, its not really going to hamper my experience.
