I would assume MLB.com is a lot easier to do this, roster resource is a very confusing layout.

MLB.com is very straight forward. Simply shows the 40 man roster by Position and the 25 man by position, no need to use anything else honestly.

Hey Millennium, quick question. Why does every team only have one closer in the entire organization? Any idea?

I'll take a stab at this.

In the past, the trade AI has overvalued guys just to try and fill the "closer" spot on the depth chart. So that was responsible for some truly horrid trades. By removing players from CP position, it helps the AI not do dumb things. The highest rated OVR guys are still de facto closers in the games anyway even if all the bullpen guys are RPs and none are CPs. Honestly, there's really no reason to have a "closer" position at all.

Thanks for the info. Would this effect the new morale system for a player who wanted to be a closer?

Mill, thanks so much for doing this. Love the full 40 non-injury OSFM, and it was something I was going to do myself over the next week or so when I have time. You've just accelerated my 'chise by a week or more...Thank you so much!!

I'd say remove Nick Lee from Nats 40 man. He hasnt touched the majors yet and isnt a major prospect at this point.

PS - any idea when this (and/or ridin's update to osfm) is gonna come down the pipe? I'm hoping to do pitch edits tonight and start up franchise tmrw.

Yes, he is. He has been placed on the 60-Day DL (which removes him from the 40 man roster temporarily to make room for an injury replacement, in the case Chris Heisey).
