Simulation Baseball Full Minors 2016 [WIP]

    NO ETA AT THIS TIME.

Another year of baseball, another year for SBFM!

ilstu24, Mizzou24, and I will be working on our reiteration of the OSFM roster. Our calculations/formulas are stat-based off of last year's stats, with a slight variation off 2016 stats.

Here's what the roster will include:
    - Up-to-date transactions
    - Up-to-date lineups
    - Up-to-date jersey numbers
    - Up-to-date equipment
    - Full Majors and Minors re-rate (based off our calculations)
    - WTNY's Pitch Edits (Most likely in V2) http://www.operationsports.com/forum...tch-edits.html
    - Correct contract lengths
    - Correct birthplaces (once the bug is patched)

Stay tuned! If you have any questions, feel free to ask below.

    Re: SBFM 2016 Roster Discussion

Ilstu and I are getting started tomorrow. We're debating on getting pitch edits included in V1 since we have three people working on these, but this could change. For now though, expect pitch edits to be included in V2.

We want to thank WTNY for his amazing pitch edit research. It truly adds another dimension to the game.

it's not listed in the details, but I'm assuming you're going to transfer over/add more prospects to this roster?

last year you guys had pretty much every teams top 15ish prospects and maybe 20-25 from the top 30 on MLB.com.... I've seen people complaining about top 10 prospects missing in the OSFM rosters

like I've said before, I'm lookin forward to these rosters.... they're the best available and most fun to play with in my opinion

Sounds great. We can use all the help we can get. I'll talk to Ilstu and see what he thinks. I'm sure we can fit you in somewhere.

            Thank you for the offer.

Can you elaborate any braves prospects that maybe added and or re rated. Just so I can determine to wait on these or start with osfm 1.5

                      Re: SBFM 2016 Roster Discussion

Basically heres the plan. Have a set with OSFM and pitch edits already input.

I want to keep AAA as accurate as possible. AA won't be as lucky, as a lot of the non-prospects in AA will be replaced. The goal is to include every teams top 20 prospects at minimum, but some will likely have more. IF a player in under 18 years old he may not be included, just so you are aware. Case by case basis there.

But anyways, I'll start with the Braves and do some ratings. Here we go.

awesome to hear.... u guys have formulas ready to go? or do you have alot of experimenting and toying around to do yet?

I have no clue if the formulas used for the previous year work as well in this years game.... so I figured I'd ask
