Quick question, will v2 have the teams from v1 in the minor leagues? I'd like to switch out a couple here and there between the two so was just wondering. I always play with classic rosters but haven't played a set with mixed years since Knight's several years ago... I'm itching to do so again!

No Joey I'm keeping the minors tidy so as not to copy over any current players so people can use their favorite 2016 teams if they wish. You can always transfer teams between roster sets.

Haven't been playing much as I'm trying to get these roster sets out but had a chance to slip two games in. The '54 Giants got themselves back into their NLDS series with a big comeback win in Game #2 over the '57 Braves.

I'm happy to announce that my '04 Red Sox swept the '48 Indians and will move on to the ALCS. David Ortiz doing Big Papi things in the post season once again for a clutch three run homer to put them in front for good in the bottom of the seventh bringing Boston back from a 3-1 deficit.

Not sure. I'm only using MLB 15 to get my teams from 14 over. Never really played with it.

Really awesome roster set my man. I DL these over the weekend. I can see having some intense post season mode tourney's between a bunch of teams....basically run 6 modes....choose a team for each league to run as....if I get knocked out in either or both sim the rest....then widdle that down to a final bracket of 10 for the ultimate prize.

Or run a short 29 game season mode....choose a team etc.

Anyway.....great work. So many awesome historical teams in one set. And the fact your doing different versions....nice!!!!

My pleasure, Armour. I have benefited from the generous work of many other roster makers. Just trying to give back. Playing across eras is my favorite way to go with the post season mode. Be on the lookout for v 2.0 tomorrow or Thursday. Then I'll be getting to work on v 3.0. After that, there will be three more subsets as I'll just be replacing a handful of teams in each set along with a few surprise all-star teams.

I posted the teams to be included in my last set on the front page. After that, I'll be switching in some other classic teams into each set to make a few neat subsets. Then, I AM DONE and will just enjoy the game play

Perhaps you could help me. I love this game, and your rosters look incredible. The only problem is, I've wanted to run a season of GREAT TEAMS for a long time (30 years maybe), and I think your rosters give me the best chance at that...but some teams are on different versions. I could never play without the '27 Yankees or the '75 reds (what's the point?), but they are on different rosters.

I've been out of the roster game a long time, but how would I go about getting all of the teams I wanted on the same roster? This is such a great opportunity, but I'm confused on how to get teams from all 3 rosters to the same one for my league. Aside from the "Gas House Gang" of '34 St.L., and the Incredible Cubs of '29, you seem to have pretty much everything I am looking for.

Seriously, I've never seen anyone do rosters with things like the '49 Red Sox, '79 Expos or '77 Royals. I think those are excellent choices for each of those particular franchises, and am impressed by your work and choices.

Obviously, you will have a set that has most of the teams already in there which will be the base for your final set...so you are really loading up the other rosters one at a time that have the few teams you want to add to the final set.

You then have to load up one roster set at a time that has a team, or teams, that you want to add to final set, and export EACH player from the roster.

Then, you load up your base final set and you have to import each player over the current player at each position for each team you want to overwrite with new players..

That's the mechanic anyway...others here can probably tell you the exact way to do it to ensure no problems in your final set.

Thanks and what Capa said above is pretty much the procedure to follow. I'll actually be adding the '29 Cubs and the '34 Cardinals in a subset later on in the summer once I finish v 3.0.
