Yes, it is based on OSFM V2.5, which I believe is mostly up-to-date as of Wednesday.

quick question. does the cpu controlled teams in franchise mode call up the injured major league players that are in a ball but on the 40 man roster? Or do i need to do a 30 team control. i would like to avoid that.

no you need to add them to MLB/40 man roster/then manually injure for them to call up

At the end of spring training, the CPU teams will select the best 25 players for the MLB roster and spread the rest of the 40-man roster throughout the minor leagues. Which level (MLB, AAA, AA or A) the player is on within the 40-man roster does not matter. For example, although Kyle Schwarber is on the A roster, the CPU will put him in the MLB starting lineup at the end of spring training.

Can we get a list of the players dropped off please, this way we can maybe put them back on the 40 man if we want to put the guys out for the season off the 40 man.

The OP has been updated to include the players that were dropped off of the 40-man roster.

While going over each player on the 40-man rosters to create this list, I noticed two errors:

• Will Venable was included in OSFM V2.5 on the Phillies' 25-man roster although he is not on the active roster or the 40-man. He should be moved to AAA, dropped off the 40-man roster and replaced by Emmanuel Burriss.
• Trey Haley should replace Stetson Allie on Pittsburgh's 40-man roster.

I have made the corrections above and re-uploaded the roster to the vault. I may also make some additional changes later today, as it appears that certain incorrect 25-man rosters may have caused a couple of players on the active roster to be dropped off when adding 60 day DL players.

99.9% complete. They're as close as you'll ever get considering real life baseball teams make changes to rosters and lineups literally every single day. My advice is to just get started and enjoy. They really are great. He did an excellent job! All involved did.

The final version of the roster is now in the vault with only three additional changes in order to add the players who had been dropped off the 40-man initially due to low overalls, but were on the 25-man roster as of OSFM V2.5's release. A list of all the changes made between the first and final version are in the OP along with an updated list of DL players and those who were left off the 40-man.

Here are the three changes that were made today:

• TAMPA BAY - Andrew Bellatti replaced by Jhan Marinez
• SEATTLE - Jonathan Aro replaced by Mayckol Guaipe
• COLORADO - Rafael Ynoa replaced by Scott Oberg

Note that all players above are on the 40-man, this just changes who is dropped off due to players on the 60 day DL being added in.

I hope everyone enjoys this final setup until V3.0 rolls into town! Now it is time to start my own franchise.
