(And what I mean by done is the entire organization. All 90 guys).

My only issue with 2.5 is the stat glitch with imported players. I guess theoretically I could find all the ones with the problem, export them from OSFM 3.0 and import them into 2.5. Everything else on 2.5 is solid.

He's supposed to release it this weekend. If the export/import to 2.5 is possible, then I'm not opposed to working off your base.

Ok no worries. I'll probably just continue on my own regardless if we can or cannot.

Rays pitchers are done. Their staff is loaded.

So the Rays are almost done, but I may have ran into a hiccup. It seems when it comes to Steven Souza, it won't populate any of his major league stats. Also, do you mind double checking Mikie Mahtook? As of now, his OVR comes out to an 81. He might have broke it haha.

Looks awesome so far. Thanks for the great calculator and to statdude for taking it upon himself to get the roster started.

Agreed! Can't wait to see the rest of the teams.

Great to know. I'll look at it here in a couple hours and get it fixed.

Re: The Game's Community Ratings Calculator

Because of the nature of excel and its limitations, just write down the players with problems, like you did statdude, and move onto the next guy. Nothing should fully break the calculator, since I have everything locked, but there could be a lookup problem with a particular guy, missing stat, or something like that.

The calculator is an aid, not so much a final authority. In my opinion, it gives some very accurate results, but human intuition can still always override the calculator.

Once we have a list of guys that aren't working properly, I can get it patched with everyone fixed probably in less than a day.

Guys I fixed the Souza issue. The lookup is clearly done in a way that means the name must match exactly. Input "Steven Souza Jr." All first initials capitalized, period after "Jr." I'm seeing his stats rn. 79 RHP contact, 85 LHP contact, etc.

Awesome work, man. I would love to play with a roster utilizing actual stats to calculate ratings. It does seem like there are lots of 90+ overalls, especially SP. Also, I'm not sure how your weighting formula works, but in my opinion more weight should be given to the most recent season, to account for breakouts, aging, etc. Just my 2 cents, but I can only imagine how much hard work went into this, so thank you!

You're correct. It's why if there's an error, use the drop down box to search for the player. There also might be a small number of players with a different name on the player tab than they have on their stats. Eric Young was an example. One had Jr. and the other just had Eric Young. I had to unify it.

No that is exactly what I'm getting and that's the problem. Right now it is only looking up his minor league stats from 2010-2014, not his major league stats from 2014-2015. You can see as their are no values under 2015 and it also says that he's had no major league at bats.

Even the stock rosters have a lot of 90+ overalls. In a league with as many players as there are in the MLB, there's going to be a lot of really good to great players. This calculator should only produce a couple of 97+ players though. Trout, Harper, Kershaw, etc are the clear cream of the crop.

This helps a ton. His name may be different on his minor league stats and major league stats. With something like 5,000+ players included, I tried to catch as many errors as I could, but it's a hell of a task.

I'm about to look into it.

I think I left the players tab open to being edited. Try changing his name in the players tab and see if his major league stats show up.

Yup, that's exactly it. Steven Souza Jr. populates minor league stats and when I changed it to Steven Souza, it populated major league stats
