Haven't heard much from him lately, but lots of people are out of town for the long weekend.

As far as a I know, this is the status of the equipment project...

Phillies - thread on OS and added into V1
Blue Jays - no thread on OS, added to V1
Mets - thread on OS, not added into V1/could add to V2
Yankees - thread on OS, not added into V1/could add to V2
Padres - documented in this thread, not in V1/could add to V2
Rangers - documented in this thread, not in V1/could add to V2
Astros - in progress
Orioles - not in V1, completed w/out documentation for V2

All Other Teams - No info?

A handful of people have popped up to indicate possible help but haven't done anything definitive or have disappeared since then.

Houston position players done, will work on Pitchers tomorrow, and possibly start Seattle.

I am back! Was a great weekend with the family, and also managed to get to Miller Park on Saturday to see the Brewers Pen gag away a W!

As for the project, depending on what we decided for generic brands; Baltimore, and Boston are mostly complete. In terms of documentation; should I be putting edits on a Google Doc, or continue editing teams on the game? Seems like this has picked up some steam (which I LOVE) since I left town.

As for the project, depending on what we decided for generic brands; Baltimore, and Boston are mostly complete. In terms of documentation; should I be putting edits on a Google Doc, or continue editing teams on the game? Seems like this has picked up some steam (which I LOVE) since I left town.

I've been documenting that way whoever compiles all the changes can do them.

Personally, I would not mind being the "edit input mule" for this project! I can input finished teams in mine, while plugging away on unfinished ones in between. That way we can hand off to WTNY, or Willard for a twice over, and potentially a official V2??

Sounds good to me. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be finished with Houston & Seattle tomorrow, that would leave just LAA and OAK for the AL West to do.

I hope to complete 3 teams this week, before I leave for the weekend. After that, my week, and weekends really open up. Hopefully we can on board a few more dedicated, and OCD souls! Ha.

Just a V2 thought as well as thought to move ahead - there is a roster with updated transactions being worked on, might be a good idea to continue to document edits and we can enter them into that roster.

Thoughts guys?

We are never going to be perfect with this because equipment changes daily with some players but if we at least this years stuff we should consider a success

I just updated the Phillies thread the other day before I left for Chicago. Those changes are not in V1 and should be added for V2. Latest updates are listed in the last post in the thread.

Impossible to get it perfect. Hell, the Phillies have 2 guys (Cesar Hernandez and Freddy Galvis) who change things almost daily. Hernandez especially. Gotta just pick one thing and roll with it.

Would we rather people not have an Opening Day w/equipment set? Or would it be preferable to just do equipment and not updated transactions in V2? And then transactions + equipment in another version? I figure that as long as the created players are out there to import in, updating transactions is much, much less work than equipment and V2 could easily be modified into an updated transactions version.

I actually went to Miller Park today for a game. Awesome stadium. Loved it there. Sat 7 rows behind home plate.
