Re: Missing Players in MLB 17
Anybody remember the face glitch from MLB 11? That was one of THE greatest CAP workarounds ever.Comment

Re: Missing Players in MLB 17
Basically, Pre-patch there had been a glitch where if you put in an existing SCEA modeled player (say he was in a previous version of The Show but not in MLB 11), you could enter his name and put in audio, then export him and his actual face would be in the game. You could do this for managers, legends, anyone that had been in their database since MLB 06 pretty much. It saved a lot of time on faces and it was even better since it was their actual face and not a CAP.Comment

Edit: forgot how that rule works. For example: Rick Renteria was a coach for the White Sox last year. He will be in this year's version correct?Comment

Managers were editable? That's what we need in the newer versions so managers/coaches not in the previous year versions can at least be edited in.

I'm not sure on Renteria, coach eligibility seems to differ from players. I've seen managers make it in and I've seen some that were generic. I'd probably lean towards him being in the game though.Comment

Re: Missing Players in MLB 17
Using Tommy Watkins as an example (Notice the lighting on his face is different. MLB 07 & MLB 08 had different lighting and/or skin tones, so the faces looked like a flashlight was shining on them.) He was in MLB 08 and never appeared in a game afterwards.Attached FilesComment

Re: Missing Players in MLB 17
That should just have all the previous guys hidden on the disk, I know legally you can't have them in the game, but surely legally you CAN have them hidden on the disk just ready to unlock when they play their first MLB game>> ? their are obvious players that will be playing MLB this year that should be hidden.
Eric Thames for example. why not just have his audio hidden on the disk and a created player hidden ready for release.
I know this is 100% possible because last year they FORGOT about Matt Joyce, on the roster update he was on their as a CAP but his Audio was CORRECT. and the way it should be, not as a robot chosen commentary or 'number 10'Comment

Ernesto Frieri signed with the Yankees good chance he makes the team according to Joe Girardi. Probably will not be in the game cuz he hasn't appeared since 2015.Comment

Re: Missing Players in MLB 17
If anyone gets the game early can they post here about the 50/50 guys we can start wiping them off the board.
Looks like Kyle Kendrick will be in the red sox rotation too to start the season.Comment
