Guide for editing and creating players - potential and ratings?

I thought there was a guide somewhere in this forum for editing minor leaguers and creating players with regard to their ratings and potential. So if I was looking at editing minor league players based on the 20-80 scale, how would those translate into The Show ratings? Does anyone know what thread it would be in?

I thought it was in a OSFM thread, but I've been searching and scrolling for over a half hour and can't find anything. For example, I seem to remember it was something like this:

Scouting Grade -- The Show Potential rating
    80 -- 98
    75 -- 94
    70 -- 90
    65 -- 87
    60 -- 84
    55 -- 80
    50 -- 77
    45 -- 74
    40 -- 71
    35 -- 68
    30 -- 65
    25 -- 61
    20 -- 58

Also I was thinking in this possibly non-existent thread that it was noted what would be average for Contact, Power, Arm attributes, Fielding, etc, attributes. Is a 50 scout grade equal to an eventual max out around a 65 rating? Or more like a 70, or 60? etc...

Again, I thought this was detailed in the OSFM posts as guidelines, but I apologize if I've totally overlooked an obvious thread where this can be found...

I like the idea but your scale is a bit top heavy imo. No one with a 20 tool should have a 58 attribute.

That example was specific to just the Potential rating, not individual attributes. obviously a player with a 20 scout grade in say, power, would max out around 25-30 in that rating. Or a player with a scout grade of 50 in power might max out around 60 or something? That is part of the reason I want to find the thread I'm asking about, to level set ratings in created and edited players.

I believe what you are looking may have been part of an past OSFM thread or Hybrid thread as I do recall a link shared regarding potentials suggested for the editors of the respected projects at the time either 2014 or 2015.

I know this isnt what you're looking for and I havent stumbled across the thread you are searching for but I just picked up my BA 2017 Prospect Handbook and they had a few things that I found interesting. Not sure how pertinent it is and how it relates, nevertheless:

          20-80 Measurables

          SPEED - 60 yd.dash times (in seconds)
          80- <6.44
          70- 6.45-6.64
          60- 6.65-6.84
          50- 6.85-6.99
          40- 7.00-7.24
          30- 7.25-7.44
          20- >7.45

          POWER - (homeruns)
          80- 35+
          70- 29-34
          65- 25-30
          60- 21-26
          55- 17-22
          50- 14-18
          45- 11-15
          40- 7-12
          30- 4-8
          20- 0-5
(I notice these overlap a little strangely, I suppose because its better to use AB/HR IMO)

          FASTBALL
          Velocity (Starters)
          80- 97mph+
          70- 96mph
          65- 95mph
          60- 94mph
          55- 93mph
          50- 91-92mph
          45- 90mph
          40- 88-89mph
          30- 86-87mph
          20- 85mph and less

They also had one for Home-to-First Speed and Catcher Arm Strength .
I really wish they had put in a few more as well.
