Export players from 16 to 17

Edit: N/M gents, you have to go to CPU Roster Control and Manage Roster/Import Player if you want to export. Carry on, carry on.

Apologies if this has been covered already, but I am trying to export players from Franchise and it won't let me.

I have saved my Franchise from 16 with all teams selected and CPU Roster Control On, but when I continue it in 17 I have no option to export the players.

Went back and did it again (I've imported/exported from 14 to 15 and 15 to 16) to make sure but same issue.

Any help boys?

Not sure why it didn't work for u. It worked fine 4 me. I exported Jon singleton from 16 to 17 and it gave me his player card

Yeah, it threw me off right away having to go under a different screen but luckily I figured it out. All's well dude.

And love that username haha. Literally just got all 7 seasons last week 👍

I wonder if there will ever be a day where we can just directly carry over a roster file from year to year.

This to me is better. If you carry over an entire roster then the MLB players wont be what they should be.

I guess in my mind the MLB Players would be replaced by their current version (If you carry over a 16 file all of the MLB Players are replaced by their 17 version). Just a fantasy.

Dude, I've put some thought into this and even if they just used this idea I would.be ecstatic.

Let us have check boxes next to the player name/position so we can export/import in bulk.

I could take a generic catcher or pitcher and export then import them in one full sweep onto a base roster. Then you could (in this example, using 25 man rosters) select all the players, from pitchers to fielder's, and use an import all feature under roster manager.

Not sure it's possible, but doubt it's impossible either.

I can guarantee for fact if they did this I would do more classic roster seasons since moving them year to year would.save so many countless hours.

yeah a simple export team option would be great, then we only need to export 30 files. not 50+ per team lol

the simple import player option into franchise is great too, or your screwed if you already started your franchise and have to spend 1 hour editing a player. that a simple import would fix in 10 seconds.
