I made a bunch of players from MLB 16 (top 100 prospects) and made a save file for them to put on 17. I thought they would show up as saved data on 17 so I can import them. Is that not the case? How does it work to get those players onto 17?

start a franchise in 16 with cpu roster control on (you dont have to actually play a game, just keep the auto-save from before spring training).
fire up 17, go to "Continue From Show 16".
export the players in question.
leave franchise mode and head to roster control
go to manage roster/import player

I just spend 8 hours last night doing this, all 40 man rosters and some prospects that are due up in 2017
there was 2 players however that wasn't on my transfer Castro for the As the RP who looks like making the 25 man
