      OSFM 1.5 w/ Default Contracts

      Did you change any potentials or ratings? Only looking at Nationals players, many have lowered potentials and some have vastly different ratings than the SCEA ratings.

      I should add, I'm confused as to what's what. Ridin's roster seems to have used this or another one as a base? Is there a roster that has the official ratings 100% unchanged? I like this best because you've updated the weekly ratings.

        Ratings and potentials have not been changed on SCEA players outside of speed and arm strength edits on a handful of players in 4.5, which are detailed in a link from the first post.

        If you are looking from within franchise mode you are probably seeing ratings changes due to the moral system. Happy players get a boost, unhappy players get a decrease regardless of the roster you are using.

          The vast majority of them are the same as SCEA. Joe Blanton, for example, is SCEA 83 and 72 on these. Trea Turner's bunt ratings are lower which dropped him a point. Turner, Zimmerman, Murphy and some others have lower potentials.

          Honestly it wasn't much work for me to compare and change them to match SCEA. it was only maybe 8 potentials and 3 ratings that needed to be changed. I just didn't know if other teams didn't match up because I didn't compare the other teams.

            Might have the difference from the default roster which OSFM was based on and the SCEA opening day update, I can't incorporate those changes since they weren't documented anywhere as far as I know.

                  nyyfan84, I checked out your first set of rosters and love them since I'm looking for everything to be out of the gate on opening day. I do have a quick question for you and others on the board. You mention players being added from SCEA with every new version you create, but these players are in your original 1.5 set too. Their appearance doesn't appear to have changed. Are you talking about their ratings being updated when you say this?

                  Thank you for your time and hard work putting these together. I can't wait to use them when I get my franchise underway.

                    Nyyfan can chime in on this but seeing you are so keen to get your franchise underway I can give you an answer.
                    The players in the original 1.5 set that you are enquiring about are created by the OFSM guys because they are not yet in the game. If you want opening day this is the way to go. The ratings change with the morale system and progression in franchise so there is no need to worry too much about them.
                    The later versions Nyyfan has been updating these OFSM created players with the SCEA versions as they put them in the game so the ratings take into account this seasons performance. He also kept up with MLB transactions so they're not opening day.

                      I am going to try and get another update out soon, I have been a bit busy and have fallen behind on the last couple of updates that went out. Ratings and added players are quick but the transactions take a little more time.

                      Next release will probably at or around the trade deadline.

                        Added players are the SCEA version of the player imported over the CAP. This helps if you carry over to next years game and the player is given a real face and audio
