Re: OSFM w/Edits by csura999
Load the rosters, then go to Roster Control. Add some players to the 40 man for each team. Save the roster and se that one for Franchise.
You don't have to fill it up, the CPU will add players as they need to replace injured players, etc. So you could start a Franchise with 25 man and the CPU will eventually fill up the 40 man (slowly).
The reason they are 25 is to keep the lineups correct for Opening Day. If the CPU only has 25 players, it won't shuffle line ups. Give it more players and it will make (somewhat logical) decisions that affect the MLB roster and line ups.

I just released V10 in to the vault last night! Every transaction made through May 26 is on the roster. Every pitcher called up has full pitch edits, every new player has their right equipment, right jersey number, all that good stuff.
Let me know what you guys think of it!Comment

Oh, and a bit of the good 'ol classic eye test. Hahaha.
Players like Yonder Alonso, Aaron Judge are among the players who got a big boost. Alonso's having one heck of a season there with the A's.Comment

csura999, Your work is very good, I was looking for something up-to-date this is just right! First thing I check is the "power ratings" when setting up a franchise and your roster is pretty accurate ex. Giants ranked 13, D-Backs 8, Rockies 7, etc. Thank you for doing this, it really makes the game feel "real time" If someone is just starting a new season or roster, I highly recommend this one!Comment

I checked out the roster last night and I will say I like it. I feel like you were a little harsh on guys having a bad season (Machado) but I suppose that's an easy thing to correct myself. I can't remember though, did you edit potential ratings also?Comment

BigOrangeVol4Life - I can do that. But for now this is just a 25-man roster.
LADodgerMan - Thank you, man! I appreciate that!
tapout8302 - I can see where you're coming from with that. But, I'm going to keep releasing throughout the season, so if a player catches a hot streak--he's going to get a boost. Think of these almost like a "live roster," as LADodgerMan said. And I did edit potential ratings, throughout the course, yes!Last edited by csura999; 06-24-2017, 01:44 PM.Comment
