Hey do any of you guys know why career stats sometimes get wiped out when importing/exporting players? Example I edited Jesus Montero who had career stats, but now it shows zero for all his service time remains but that's it. Any ideas? Any way I can get the stats back?

Import a generic player first, back out of the screen. Go back in and import Montero. Back out, then go back in and check his stats. Keep repeating that step if it doesn't work. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 attempts.

I put his base file into the vault. Correct service time.

Ok great I'll try it!

Another way that works - after importing Montero, if his stats disappear or change. Edit his name to just initials. First name J last name M. Import again and he should be good. Again, might take a few tries.

There's something screwy when importing a player with the same name over himself that causes stats to change or disappear.

I can't fix them but I will copy your face edits down and put them into the original file. I'll let you know when he's done. I'll put him into the vault and after you download him, I'll remove my file.

No. Once you save the file with the stats gone, they're gone. It needs to be fixed prior to saving.

Aroid, I put Montero into the vault. I put in the description that it was your work but as soon as you download it, I'll remove the file.

Career stats and service time are correct. I re-simmed 2016 and made sure he wasn't on the 40 man. His service time now correct - 1.167.

Thanks for the work. Copying it was a chore, I can't imagine how hard it was to do the original.

Guys here is the method that works 100% every time. We no longer get the player card we were getting before patch 1.04 but career stats stick.

STEP 1:

in your carry over franchise from 16 find the player who turned generic. Then edit his name there not outside of franchise.

STEP 2:

Export him out of that franchise to your hard drive.

STEP 3: (This is very very important so pay attention )

Now don't load any roster go to create a player and put in just the first and last name of the guy you just did in that franchise and send him to free agents.

Now go to roster managements and one side go to LEGENDS he will be at the very bottom then on other side go to team you need that player to be on. While looking at this screen hit triangle u will notice the guy you just named has a player card 0 stats.

Anyways put that player on the team then back out.

STEP 4:

Now import the player you exported out of franchise over the created rookie version and wah la there u have it. Be sure to export the final one onto your hard drive then place him on whatever main roster u want him on.

Lastly and this is very important you half to close out of game and reload after you save that player because the next guy u do would have the previous players card u just did. So reload game and go back and do next player.

Let me see if i can fix him for you, is the one you did still in the vault?

I think what may have happen is if you export him out of carry over franchise, did his face etc , but then saved him in main menu he might be saved with zero stats.

I will try and fix him for you and let u know here in a few.
