    Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster

Just wanted to ask those that have done custom teams. How are budgets doing if you replaced the stadium with a minor league one? Wanted to know if someone tested it out yet before I start my franchise. If not I can try running a sim tomorrow at some point of I have time

Look at the companion spreadsheet in the first post.

Hmm...looks like I found a Ken Griffey clone in the FA pool. A left handed hitter, #24 goes by the name of Ben Griffith. Even kinda looks like him. Also saw a Manny Machado one. Bacon, are these little easter eggs?

I just found this roster - amazing work, Bacon!! I do not buy any sports game every year, so I will be passing on MLB 20. I did buy 19 - is the companion spreadsheet still available somewhere for MLB 19? Thanks!!

Yupp, there are a few in free agency of CAPs I found that look good so I made them 60ish overall and threw them in to fill some free agent spots.

                  Hi Bacon,

Are the rosters good to use for multiple seasons? Im almost done in doing 30 teams rebrands and will use your rosters. I would like to sim the first season to create a history (which team won, which teams are bad, whos the mvp etc.) before then playng the 2nd season and have a comprasion who improved etc.

Just want to make sure if the rosters are good for multiple seasons?

                  thanks.

I didn't do a deep sim on MLB20 yet, but I've done test franchises on previous versions before and it has seemed to work well. I've gone 10-15 years in the future and guys who make the hall of fame or prospects I thought would be good have turned out about as expected. There isn't too much of an issue with over saturation either. That's why I have so many D potential players.

Yeah, it does happen. I don't have specific examples but the 'potential' system is set up so guys underachieve/overachieve.

I'm *insert Heidi Watney audio* "flat out" enjoying the roster. I normally skip spring training but even these games are good. Having to actually "scout" my own players to see who's got the goods is fun. Screaming at my slow but overly confident base runner trying get a triple. Good stuff.

Bacon, this has probably been covered before, but how come there are no designated Closer's in your roster

Do you mean on the spreadsheet? That's because roles are fluid for relievers and I've been moving guys around so much that I don't wanna have to change it one way and then back.
