Bacon, thanks for the update. I amazed at how close you are to the full 90 man!

Downloaded your roster the other day. This is amazing. Thank you so much. I appreciate your labor of love for this game and others enjoyment.

            Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster

So I'm the Giants using Bacon's roster, but had to share this; The Astros and Mariners were dominating the AL West all season, with Oakland in Last, or Second to last most of the year. We're now in Sept. and the A's have gone WILD!!!

Currently the A's have won 17 games in a row and are now only a 1/2 game back in the the AL Wildcard, with a little more than a week left in the regular season.

The A's 3-4 hitters have been the catalyst to this run, Michael Mayfield (.311-40-112) and Nate Painter (.318-30-110) have been CRUSHING the ball all month. Now I'm watching each game the A's play and it's made me forget all the drama with the real life MLB.

Yesterday the A's were in danger of ending their streak, down 2-1 in the bottom of the 8th against the Angels, when Jesse Irvin, not know for his power, hits a 2-run HR to give the A's the lead. In the top of the 9th the A's brought in closer Ian D'Amico, who made it a nail biter by loading the bases, but he was able to pitch around the trouble and close it out in the top of the 9th.

            I LOVE this roster!!!!

For all you Will Dunn fans out there, I’ve decided to move him into the closer role as my closer Oliver has lost 3 straight appearances for me. Dunn in his 6 games as a middle reliever/setup man has only allowed one hit, two walks and struck out 9 without allowing a run. He has also not allowed a runner to even reach second base so far. Viva Will Dunn!!!

For a guy rated in the mid 60’s he’s been lights out.

Just out of curiosity, are you guys using SOS with these rosters? I know the teams sounds will stick, what about the individual players? Is anyone creating walk ups for Bacon's rosters?

By the way, I'm having a blast with these.

I used the pre-game, win, loss, mid and bottom of inning sounds. I didn't bother with walk up songs or cheers I don't typically use them regardless of roster.

I assigned walk-ups for the players on my team only. Otherwise, every team has their normally assigned SOS.

This roster is incredible. Thank you for the hours, weeks, months it must have taken to put this together. Decided to go with my hometown Rockies, did not necessarily love the entire makeup of the roster, but they have proved to be really fun to play with. Miguel Ramirez and Speedy McGee setting the table for Jimmy Lowe! At the all star break, trailing the Giants by 1 game for first in NL west with Padres right behind us only 1.5 GB 1st. Hopefully going to be quite the race down the stretch! Just traded some prospects for 1B JJ Lewis from Marineers, hoping that works out.

Other notes: Martin Ziemicki having a career year with 18 HR's at break. Mitch McClain has been unreal with a sub 2 ERA and 12 wins.

In his first game as my new closer Will Dunn struck out the side in order, throwing only 12 pitches and reaching a top speed on his fastball of 101 mph. This guy is a beast.

                              Bacon, or anyone:

Is there a way that I can import Cal Ripken (L) into your roster? The game doesn't let you export any (L) players, but there must be a way to do it as many of the custom classic rosters have these players incorporated into them.

I appreciate any insight -- thanks in advance!

That’s because legend players were not replaced in those rosters.
