What's the best way to add new players to franchise?

I'm pretty deep into my franchise and I've noticed a handful of top prospects aren't on my roster. I've found most of them on the latest osfm roster. I'm pretty OCD and feel like I want to try to edit over fictional draft picks and add these guys in, along with some of nickthekids' 2018 draft prospects.

What would be the best way to do it? In the past, I used my phone to take pictures of the players appearance, gear, ratings etc, then go into franchise and recreate him. It's just really time consuming and was wondering if there was a better way.

I really wish you could import during an active franchise or at least add players into a draft class. Would make my life so much easier.

I really wish you could import during an active franchise or at least add players into a draft class. Would make my life so much easier.

(A) You could load up the roster that has the players you want and write it all down then add it in your franchise on one of those available players.

(B) Same as above but instead use TWITCH and make a video of the players your going to use there edit stuff then go into your franchise find the player your going to edit into whoever then watch the twitch video as you can pause the video when needed.

Yeah this is one option I would love to see into the game to be able to import players into a franchise there was talk of this a couple of years ago happening but never happened. it does take a good 30 mins to edit a player and create a player by taking videos of them then creating them in franchise, very time consuming but is the only way we can currently do it

I've used www.thebaseballcube.com to see which minor leaguers retired or got released, and accordingly edit over them with the player I'm trying to add. For example, I saw that Reid Redman (KC minors) retired and edited him into Jesen Therrien (PHI). Then I just put that player on waivers and have the Phillies claim him.
