Not sure if these guys have been mentioned yet but none of the are in the game:

Anthony Recker (twins?)
Chris Medlen (royals?)
Enrique Burgos (dunno)

Of the players you listed Recker is the only one who played in the majors last season. He is missing from 18 for some reason.

Medlen and Burgos spent the entire 2017 season in AAA for the Braves and never got called up.

Burgos was recently released by Detroit.

For some reason Clay Buchholz isn't in the game either. Sure he only made 2 starts last season, but I figured he would still be in the FA list.

I am still going through and finding missing players, 2 that are just glaring to me are Michael Kopech from the White Sox and Screwball pitcher Brent Honeywell from the Rays... both are posed (or are already on) to make the big league roster. This just seems ridiculous, I keep checking after each roster update but they are never there.

This is because they are MILB players, they’re not part of the MLBPA yet therefore SCEA doesn’t have the legal right to include them in the game. Once they make their debut put their MLBPA paperwork in they’ll be in the game. But I don’t think Honeywell will be doing that anytime soon. If I’m not mistaken he’s done for the season and most of next season. Kopech will probably be up at some point this season for the White Sox
