LF Cole Gillespie just signed with San Diego. Checked my carryover franchise and he has the white guy glitch where he kept his name and isn't exportable.

I uploaded Gillespie. I did the best I could with him on his service time. I came up a little short on his career games played, but otherwise he's good to go. Make sure you guys go up vote Abotti's 2007 roster in the vault. Gillespie CAP came from that set.

We should start knocking out the 50 50 players if they are in the game or not. so if anyone has the game early in the next 3 days lets us know!

So far it looks Like David Dahl is in the game. but that is about it that we have seen spotted out of the 50 50 players. anyone spot any others during the streams>?

Pat Venditte didn't pitch in 2017 so he probably won't be in 18. He's now projected to make the Dodgers opening day bullpen after a strong spring though. So wonder if carrying him over from a 17 franchise will keep his switch pitching, or have to wait for SCEA's weekly update with him.. unless switch pitching has totally been removed now.

Ughh of course that would happen and they don’t make it editable because of DD

Doubt it he will turn genetic the switch pitcher thing would be built in game

Probably not. We'll probably lose his switch handedness.

What I don't get is if they have service time and have not retired, why would they not be in the game? There's no license issue. It shouldn't matter if they missed 2017 because of injury or spending the whole year in the minors. Like Preston Tucker of the Braves. He's going to be in the Opening Day lineup, but probably isn't in the initial roster.

So what do people do with their carryover franchises? Do you figure out who has turned generic and then try to edit them or just not worry about it? This is my first year carrying a franchise over but it’s going to be lame if a lot of players lose their likeness... any suggestions??

In most cases the only thing you lose is there face. They do turn to generic players and you can edit more than when they were a real player.

Now to determine who they are when they turn generic from MLB 17 to MLB 18 all you need to do is load your MLB 17 franchise up and look over a teams roster and either write things down and compare both rosters easily to identify who turned generic. I also used baseball reference and compare the service time.

Keep in mind sometimes using the carry over feature player who turn generic get this one face and its locked out nothing you can do about it if your playing franchise, but if your working on rosters you can't export him out obviously from franchise but when doing rosters on main menu he wouldnt be on there anyways at the glitch face. Players with the glitch carry over face you half to re-create them and do there service time the best you can and all teams they played on in a franchise setup just to do this part.

If you put cpu control
On you can export thesss players not only do they turn generic but they become created players.

That’s how you can get close enough service time and the player card it’s linked to a Id number on it you also leave audio blank so the player keeps his audio.

100 times better the the annoying R on a fresh crested player

Tim lincecom will get the same treatment

Preston Tucker is just warming the spot up for Acuna in a few weeks time too lol bit like that year Mike Olt was missing and he was gone once Bryant was in

Ok the list above is about what I got, it looks like that streamer got banned as I was looking through the archives but I got a lot of those 50 50 guys answered for us in advance, I was just about to find out if Charlie Tilson was in with the white sox. it wasn't on the first page but it was sorted as ratings first so he could have been in the game I am not sure.
