Coming back after taking 2017 off...

Or you can just say 1994. But really, I don't want to touch that rotten data anymore, I want to start from scratch.

The roster will have extended prospect pools (Like 1994, so future draft picks on the right teams as long as they're old enough for it to make sense.) so consider that in your choice.

First of all, that would be awesome to have you back and doing a roster.

My thought....do something that makes YOU happy. I think we'll all enjoy it no matter what season you choose

If I'm being honest it's 1994. I still don't really understand how that never turned into a completed franchise ready roster with all the hours you put into it. The version I last downloaded was at least80% complete just kissing faces and a few tweaks. Why do you say it's rotten? I'm pretty sure all we needed was a conversion over to This years game which never came.

        If it's not 1994, 1999

Thing is, if I really look at the 2016 port and the results of the sims, it still held up in terms of the stats it produced and the rosters evolved just fine over the seasons.

The game introduced many features since the data was made originally, including the birthplaces and editable contracts and salaries. It's a chore to go back and just and edit these for everybody and keep track of what's been done and what's left to do.

I would need to port it to 2017, start a season that I would then port to 2018, and then export / import everyone into 2018. Oh yeah, export / import is a chore when you have a cap on the number of files you can export at one time.

2001 would be my choice. There isn't a full minors roster out there yet for that. That was a really memorable season.

It is a chore, but other rosters have been exported. We can't just let it die.

                I will nominate 1993.

Marlins and Rockies first year in the league, Joe Carter’s walkoff in game 7 of the WS.

A good 1993 roster would be awesome.

I would say create a year that has not been made yet.
                    maybe a roster b/t 1993 - 1996.
you can use data you already got from 94 file.
                    thanks for all your hard-work.

we already have enough rosters that pretty much have dominance in most the teams from 90 - 93, i'd like to see 1995 hands down, so many awesome teams, also its never been a set made that i know of since maybe mlb 10 or 11 if then. i don't know why this year hasn't been made but most the league was really well rounded and just about most teams could have went to the ws imo. your call though.

I like the idea of 1995.
