Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version”
Question: Is the problem with importing anyone, or just after so many? Wondering how there were rosters out, with 150+ prospects on day 1, that worked. Those had to be done using imports, right? Or no? Thanks!!Comment

I'm insanely excited for this roster, use it every year, never had an issue with it! Can't wait for it to be uploaded, and I'll be ready to go! No rush guys, just do your best and keep up the insane quality of work!Comment

Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version”
Just throwing this out there. If the problem is the number of created players being exported or imported, how about releasing the roster in bits, maybe by division. Am I looking at this wrong? 6 seperate downloads. Each individual person can then put their own roster together using the export import function. The players would be there. Just a suggestionComment

Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version”
Hopefully SCEA fixes this and it becomes a non-issue. But if it can't be fixed, could an alternative be releasing all the CAPS for individual download as official OSFM CAPS? That way people could go in and at least individually download all the minor leaguers they care to have for their individual teams? Certainly not as good as a league filled with real minor leaguers, but at least you'd see some of your favorite prospects on the team you are controlling.Comment

Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version”
Guys we aren’t looking at alternative choices yet..... we are continuing on with what we have and are probably 60% or more complete ..... to have to shut down this and do it a different way is gonna be a whole other conversation and a whole lot of time and patience which at this point I can only speak for myself but I don’t have much of left... even to release by divisions would require starting from scratch and doing each team and from what I have seen in starting over a few times already each file has been corrupted.... the bottom line is Sony fixes or we start from scratch and if we do that it’s gonna be a long while. Hope For Sony to fix this.

Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version”
Not to be negative, because I know nothing about game programming or programming in general. But to play devils advocate here I would have to imagine this may be a problem they cannot fix (until next year at least).
The reasons that lead me to believe this are:
1) they ignored this problem last year, and I would have to believe they knew of its existence.
2) they haven't gotten back to Ridin or anybody else as of yet. I would have to imagine that finding the route of the problem is l as simple as running a diagnostics program on the file to find the root cause of the corruption, similar to what norton anti virus does on a personal computer
I remain hopeful that with all of the problems they have been having with people losing cards and stubs that they just haven't gotten around to it yet. But I also have to imagine (again not knowing much about programming) that finding the problem wouldn't take very much time or effort considering they programmed the game and have all of the analytical tools needed to at least pinpoint the problem, and let Ridin know what needs to be taken out to not corrupt the files.Comment

My only ask and I feel it’s a reasonable ask since SCEA uses our players for their updates and we provide thousands of DL’s to people for this game is that IF it can not be fixed that they have the common courtesy to tell myself or the community as soon as they know so that we stop wasting our own time working on something that will never be released. That’s a fair ask.
