Franchise mode has an import player tab. It's not functional currently, so I'm assuming it's something they'll be patching in at a later date.

In franchise in the roster management. When you click on a player and the tabs come up one towards the bottom has an import option.

Ok m, finally got the game up and running and I see the import player tab. It seems that it only shows up when CPU roster control is turned on. That gives me hope that it will be patched in. Maybe ill try to contact SDS and tell them that it’s not functional. They probably don’t care though because it’s not diamond dynasty

Does it actually say "Import"? I'm only seeing the following:

Sort
Move to MLB
Move to Triple-A
Move to Double-A
Add to 40-Man Roster
Export Position Player
Cancel

In Franchses mode, can you export a player when using your carry over franchise from 17? I’m positive i did my 17 franchise with CPU control on but I don’t have the CPU roster control screen like I have when doing a new francise. When I go to Manage and then to Roster and click on a player I do not have the Export line. Is it only on carry over franchises or am I missing something?

Ok. Thanks. Then somehow I must not have had CPU Control on when I did my 17 Franchise because I don’t even have the CPU roster control section available. Thx for the help.

That is with CPU roster control on, and I am pretty sure that was always a option in MLB 17 too. but yeah I don't know why they have it say import player when you can't use it.

Ok that's different. People were saying when you click on a player they are seeing an import option.

It is unbelievable that in order to keep your franchise up to date you need the ability to add players as the rosters change. It makes for a very unrealistic experience. Come on MLB you need to do this

Yeah it’s honestly beyond ridiculous they haven’t done this yet. It’s 2019 like this stuff shouldn’t be a issue in games like this. Specially when I feel they pump out the same product every year. They should have it so the franchise rosters jus update automatically during your season and then you can adjust from there. Like get with it mlb the show !!!!
