Forgot to mention,any player not created is saved a spot with an edited fake player. I made the first name g last name g so you know.

I've legitimately created all 397 guys from the fake players thus far. So none will have service time....Is there a way I could edit that...I would gladly if I could.....I just don't know how to be honest. I created full 90 man for TheShow17 as well. So your saying I can copy the whole roster over....cuz everything as of last week or so was 100% accurate for my 2017 roster.

My point was most of the players have already been created by OSFM and other rosters. It would save you lots of time.I pulled some from 16 & 17 with service and stats.If you spent all that time creating AAA & AA players cudos to you.The easiest way for me is to export,and import from a 17 franchise based off OSFM & sideeffect rosters.All needed is to adjust ages and some faces if they didn't play in 17 and their face is messed up.But they have service & stats.Check out some players on my roster and look at their stats.You can use for whatever.I am an older guy 57yo,so it doesn't matter to me.I just love baseball.Thanks for replying.

if you still got MLB 17 start a franchise with CPU control on. save it

choose MLB 18 franchise -continue from MLB 17.. in CPU roster control export players out of there. so you could find Tim Lincecom for the Rangers who turns generic with the correct service time. and import him into your roster and just re do his face so that way he is not a late 30 year old with a rookie icon next to his name

Um....something isn't right....I did like you said....but Lincecum, Erlin, Rea (guys that aren't in this game) didn't transfer over for whatever reason...it put some fake player in there place..I don't have a clue why tbh lol. Not sure if you may, but i'd appreciate any insight you give on it. Thanks.

No that's what is supposed to happen. They don't transfer over but that Fake guy is still them in terms of service time/stats/ratings etc. They were removed since they didnt play in the majors last season but all the other stuff transfers. If you go to the career stats section, everything is who they are supposed to be, just need to change the face and name.

So try Lincecum. Go to the fake guys stats and see if it lists his SF and Tex numbers

Sooooooooooooooooooooo I just realized something amazing......I created 95 percent of the guys that will be on this roster last year....ergo, I believe the timetable just jumped up like a week.......this is the best news I've had in years lol....for example I quickly imported 7 players in like 2 minutes...that'd normally take me 30 minutes to create.....

Glad I could help and save you time! it's particularly handy for the service time guys like Preston Tucker Lincecom etc not in the game

Only thing I wont do.....is I see that maybe a quarter of the guys I made last year have a rookie symbol..so I wont transfer them over.....but this should save days worth of work. I appreciate the info to get my guys into the roster. Thank you.

Yeah if in doubt check baseball reference and it will tell you if a players rookie status as exceeded or still intact.

Most of the guys that you made last year that are no longer rookies should be in the game anyway.

There probably ways to get the rule 5 symbol too for eg Bard on the Angels. if you really wanted to go deep and realistic with that.

For some reason I see it gave minor league players who never touched majors yet the rookie symbol..idk y, so I'll gladly just make them so the R isn't there
