Keeping line ups and pitching rotations?

I am setting up my roster for the season. I have set my line ups and pitching rotations. Is there a way to get them to stay in tact when I start a season? I heard after training camp they go random is this correct? If so how do I keep them from doing that?
    I am the way
    I am the light
I am the dark inside the night.
    I hear your hopes
    I feel your dreams
And in the dark I hear your screams
Don't turn away, Just take my hand
I'll never leave, All I ask of you, Is Believe.

Are you planning on doing Spring Training? I think last year I avoided the problem but setting the lineup and rotation up and then starting on opening day. Just had to make sure that my management of those things was set to manual.

You have to only put the 25 men you want on the 40 man roster. Otherwise it will just pick the best 25 men on your 40 man roster and shuffle up your pitching rotation and lineup accordingly. This is why so many people want rosters with only 25 men on the 40 man. You can just load it and start your franchise will everything in tact. You could also go to the last day of spring training and send the people down you don't want. That is obviously more time consuming.

I have the franchise start on opening day so I don't even have to sim Spring training.

In franchise mode you can it's one of the options it asks you where you want to start when you're starting a new franchise.
