First off hats of the Ridin and the OSFM team. Rosters are incredible! Wondering if anyone is taking the time to do a 40 Man it real contracts? Just wondering before I start my highly anticipated Red Sox Franchise. Much love Operation Sports!

Hey mate, ill have a go at the 40 man 1.3 no injuries with proper contracts

Will probably be correct up to 80% with minor league prospects staying 50-100k

its about midnight here in australia now probably not finish it till tomorrow.
So probably 10+ hrs from now
But if i get through most of it tonight then maybe earlier

Ive finished the AL teams, took me roughly 3 hrs. So probably another 3 hrs or so

Is it true that real contracts mess up the game later on in regards to free agents and trade logic?

I haven't seen any of that. The good outweighs the bad with real contracts, I would say. It can totally ruin the immersion when you start a franchise and a terrible contract like Chris Davis is nullified to being a more team friendly deal.
