How do you manually injure players in Franchise again?

Go into your settings, to general settings (I believe that's what it's called) and select "advanced". You'll see "Injuries" and can select either On, Off, or Manual. Select Manual. You then go to the DL and can hit R1/L1 to go to the roster to manually injure players.

so after you injure a player should you put the setting back to ON so it works throughout the season?

I am playing a franchise and I cannot manually injure a healthy player. Is there a way to do it?

I’ve got manual injuries enabled and I have cpu roster control set to off but I still can’t seem to figure this out.

I go to the disabled list and I see the L1/R1 option but nothing happens when hit either. WTH is going on? Is my controller broken lol.
