That’s a terrible job by SCEA. They’ve really let me down this year. The lack of proper MLB equipment and attire is embarrassing.

It's strange though, I can change SCEA created guys like Donaldson & Diaz by example, can change some created players but for an unknown reason some guys are not editable.

In order for you to add a C Flap to a player he must wear a "protective' helmet. If he has any helmet style other than protective you cannot assign him a C Flap. All SCEA players have protective helmets so you don't have to worry about it.


Also in case you may not know you have to move a player onto the MLB roster to assign the C Flap. No other way to do that unfortunately.

What’s confusing me is the player in question, Gurriell, is editable in OSFM but not the one I made. I used OSFM Gurriell as a base.

Gurriel came with a ventilated helmet in a carryover save. The new SCEA version that was added to the game has a protective helmet which you can add the C Flap to.

What I did to add his face guard was just copied your face onto the SCEA version & then added the guard

Edit: He’s up in the vault now, I do wanna point out that I did lighten his skin tone a bit & lowered his potential from what SCEA has him at
