    Roster is in the vault

Title: My Take on Ridin's OSFM v2

everything is done but pitch edits, speed edits,
still on the fence if I even want to do it.
Not sure it will effect gameplay that much to invest dozens of hours to do this.

    Enjoy - Dowie

Man, much appreciated! This is the roster I wanted to start my franchise with. I'm super excited to get that puppy rolling. Thanks for all the hard work!

Dowie, I'm looking forward to downloading these when I'm off work later this weekend. I enjoy watching CPU vs CPU broadcasts of the games using Nomo's sliders and leaving all the transactions, roster management, etc up to the computer for all teams. I like to see how the season plays out compared to what's going on in real life baseball. As far as the position depth alignments you've made, does it seem to help the computer manage its roster and with trades, cuts, free agent signings, etc? Besides not having to wait, what are the advantages of rolling with what Ridin has set up with version 2.0 as opposed to waiting and going with the pitch and speed edits?

good question - I am not sure the pitch edits and running speed updates will have that big of an effect (which is why I am hesitant to do it). If you are O.C.D. about realism, i do believe the pitch edits matter as the "stock" rosters don't do a great job duplicating real-life pitch arsenals or pitch speed.

Nice roster. Looks very playable. Only downside is I had to go back and put every Indian in their correct positions and fix just about every secondary position, with some not able to give fully because once you wipe out SDS positions you cant get them back. IE Yandy Diaz (3B not SS) who can play all infield and L/R field, now only can play IF or OF. Other then that, these arent bad. Im not going to go through every team, and just hope it doesnt make it players play out of position.

I just went thru the Indians team - seems right to me.
When it comes to the minor league players, I moved a lot of the players positions around based on their ratings. A guy with 39 speed can't be a CF, but you'd be surprised how many minor league guys had ratings that couldn't possibly support their position. IE 3B with an arm in the 30's, 6'5" 2B etc.

I'm not perfect, so if there are any errors, please edit to your liking. I'm sure I still saved y'all hours upon hours of editing.

Wasn't bashing them or you. So my apologies if you felt that was my intent. I stated that they appeared to be very playable. I just wanted to put out there that some people may have to go do some editing for accuracy and some players may lost secondary positions that they won't be able to get back.
Yes, you did save some work for the most part. Mostly the contract lengths. The other stuff can mostly be fixed by individuals to their taste.

So I downloaded this roster last night, but I noticed that none of the lineups were up to date.. I didn't check any of the SP rotations/Bullpens yet, so I'm not sure about those.. But it looks like all of the rosters themselves were pretty accurate, so that's good! I am taking the time to update every lineup & rotation (as best as I can) and upload to the vault.. I was able to update the whole American League last night!

I didn't "update rotations/bullpens/lineups. Whatever the OSFM 2.0 came out with in regards to this specifically is how mine is too.
