Question about prospect and player re-rates

Question for the roster pros in here. I use OSFM rosters and in my Yankees franchise have been editing/rerating the minor leaguers and a few of the major leaguers who seem to be rated inaccurately. I’m a huge Baseball America nerd and yes, I peeled through all the acouting reports for my farmhands trying to be as accurately as possible. I’ve been using the following guidelines based on overall rating:

85+ All-Star Players (big range, subject to actual tools for each player)
80-84 MLB cornerstone players, not quite all-star caliber
    75-79 Unspectacular major league regulars
70-74 Fill-ins, platoon guys, or guys with one strong tool
    65-69 AAA regular
    60-64 AA regular
    55-59 A+ regular
    50-54 Low-A / Short-season ball regular
40’s - Rookie ball, high school draftees, teenage international guys

I find prospects with big tools (plus-plus arm or speed) won’t fit into this mold because their offensive attributes will be behind their overall rating. Just wondering if Im on the right track here?
