Interesting thing.. it looks like Acuna Commentary if you use last years player player is tied to MLB 18. even if you skip a year. he still comes up as a rookie with the top prospect Icon. and his player card, but the game will still think he is a rookie

it looks like we will have to go with the crappy looking SCEA guy. my OCD can't help it seeing him going for Rookie of the year every time.

and today is going to be the Cut off point we will do for Transactions. so come midnight tonight we will stop any more moves and keep the transactions as of now.

if by a miracle a roster update will come out in the next week or so.. I will import scea created players over to the new base. just so we have the player ID for audio if they decide to patch in any player audio.

I’m just trying to get clarification is this going to be 90 man full minors. I just don’t want generic names and then I dive into franchise until Ridin’s releases.

Don’t know if this is useful here or not but Jordan Patterson of the Reds dealt to Toronto. Don’t know what for yet.

the most annoying part is every-time he comes up to bat we hear them say 'how he is in his rookie season' it makes me wonder if they even updated his commentary. but I don't know this was just the roster I was using while doing some testing with a few things.

I get that but surely it cant be done by sunday since Niner still needs to start his base roster which will become the CRP, see this is where everything gets confusing. Would be nice if just one man was the lead on this project like Ridin was for OSFM that way everything is clear to everyone with what is going on, now you just have this person saying this and another saying that

Originally I was going to do all the importing when I got the game and release something till OSFM or whatever it will be called came out. Cujo did basically what I was going to do over the weekend before the game came out.

it sounds like from what Ridin said with the OSFM coming out sooner rather then later. perhaps it gives 2nd thoughts now to even keep going with this seeing as Cuju pretty much did something already for this that I was originally going to do. and at that time we thought those rosters were not coming out till June to August.

I do have all the vets imported into Cujo roster just without faces done which Willard is doing. I wish I could use that same base to save hours upon hours of work, but with a few duplicates and the Yankees catcher being overwritten by accident (easy to do I have done it before!) that I have to re import everything again! (if only every player could be exported!!

Well I for one hope you will still do it, for all we know OSFM could be delayed for whatever reason and then its even longer waiting. Till then it would be great to have something we can use

I have fixed Ronald Acuna Jr. for the most part. He has correct service time now and simulated stats pretty close to his 2018 season. He still has his real player scan however and the other issue is he still turns into a real player when going from 18 to 19 no matter what you change his name to and when you do change it completely he turns into a generic LOCKED face.


The only way to use my version is only in a carry over save you wont be able to export him out to the main menu to use in a roster there.


Seems like any player that was added last year by SDS in a carry over will get a locked face no matter what you change there name to. More testing on this, but not looking good fellas.


* Now don't get this confused with your carry over roster and a veteran player turning generic u can still edit those and export out to main menu roster as long as they don't have what I called the GLITCH face and there locked that sometimes happens and as many know you half to make those players from scratch.


So its confirmed guys, I changed my Acuna to Default (first name) Batter (last name) and he gets a locked face on 19 that's more Hispanic looking.


The only way to use a version I fixed is to make him from scratch maybe and not use the roster update version at all made by SDS last year.


But guys I did try.

So what your saying is SDS screwed up and have his service time at 000??? I was assuming that perhaps Cujo overwrote him with his created player from 2018 which is why it still links his commentary as being a rookie??

this is a pretty dumb thing by SDS if they have him still as a rookie
