if OSFM happened to be out about the same time the SCEA roster update is out.
I might use OSFM as exporting players as well... so the CRP Version 1 will have a bit of both worlds. but if the service time issues are not fixed then... well not sure to even bother.
also the update of SCEA we might see some players added as well. in this case we should go with SCEA created players in case they update audio later this year with patches. with the SCEA created players I would prefer the faces that are created here. I could do that but once again that takes 30 mins per face to take a video of and then copying that exactly face.. those stupid sticks with those numbers are not easy to get it exact!!
that will be something I will work on with the update of CRP every 2 weeks. when a scea guy is created I will use him and just copy and face one of the faces the guys have created here which are better then the SCEA ones. we will just use the same ratings as SCEA does.Comment

so I just read this now.. are you kidding me??
I asked about this 1 week ago and all I got was that it would only be used to update a roster file.. I knew in the back of my head a patch can fix this issue rather then a roster update.. should have went with my gut and everything would have been done a week ago, I remember thats how they fixed Hutch hair. it also means anyone that started their franchise will also see that service time fixed....
I knew it could be fixed with a patch this proves a lot of things now that they can fix any player rather then within the roster itself.
In this case. perhaps my fortnightly updates will now just be transactions etc from the osfm base.
also that japan pitcher was in the V1 roster from what I remember at least he is in mine. so he doesn't need to be createdComment

Nothing really it has taking it's cause. which is great. that was the whole point of the thread. which is great.
SDS have now open a can of worms however, we now know as I have always known since Hutch had a haircut patch that any SCEA player can be fixed in a patch. so his looks service time.. stats etc ANYTHING. and it would update any roster file or franchise file.. but they usually choose not to bother most times with it. It means they could have a face scan in during a season of Acuna if they wanted to. rather then wait till next year.
Anyway the CRP now might just be updates every 2 weeks now. if everyone is happy with that. all the transactions SCEA players exported and imported in etc.Comment

Correct i posted this in the OSFM thread in the example I used about Hutch
I always suspected this was the case, and it proves SDS can fix any player anytime they want during a season.. but everyone was telling me only a roster file can fix it not a patch... I knew a patch could fix it if they want to.
You remember when Hutch had a haircut that one year?? when they patched that he was fixed on any base roster or any franchise that had started. this and what they are going to do with Acuna etc proves that can actually fix any player at any given time during the season. all they do is make the fix for the player ID and the info for that links to all your files if it is any MODE. All a roster file really is is a bunch of player IDS the info for what is in that ID is not actually in the roster file. it is somewhere else. service time is not linked to the roster file.. this is why we can't edit service time. the created player service time is linked to the rosters.. its the SCEA players that are somewhere else.
so they could actually add in any players face scan if they wanted to during a season.Comment

Also let me just also add, some people have said Brett Anderson had this issue with service time last year... and they didn't fix that in a patch.
The simple reason for that is Brett Anderson last year was a SCEA CAP. not a actual SCEA player...
SCEA players can be fixed via a patch....
CAPs or SCEA created players the service time can only be fixed in the actual roster file itself.
does that make that easier for people to understand?? not easy to explain lolComment
